I'm buying a dread tam off of ebay.....

and I've actually never worn one before. I'm decieding between some 11-12 inches and some others that are 13-14 inches. I'm just wondering, since I dont have dreads and will tucking my short hair into the tam, if the 13-14 inch ones will probably be a little too big? I'm having a hard time trying to figure it out just from the pics on ebay and I don't want a tam that is going to be too too big...I know a 1-2 inch difference isn't that much but the larger ones looked signifigantly larger. Do you think it will make a difference or perhaps I should just go for the smaller ones? I'm not familiar with tams. Thanks

 

i think you should get the smaller one because you don't have dreads, and dreads take up more space than just normal hair. Also, your hair is short, so you don't have much to put in there.

 

Yea trust me go for the smaller one. I have dreads and when i first got my dreads and they were thin and short ish (jaw length) any tam i found looked wrong on me, it looked far too big. but now they have thickened up a bit i found a perfect one for them I'm sure a small one would look great so go for it and good luck winning.
