Well I heard it all at the weekend, yes, the lunatics are finally running the asylum! First we get the numpties blaming the virus on the 5G mobile network and start attacking masts, then we get the idiod Labour party harping on about how it's killing more black people, inferring that it is in some way a race thing, then to cap it all, we get the Tory party promising they'll hold an inquiry into it when this is all over!
Now I did read something in the news about a woman in China who they call the 'Bat lady', apparently she was working on the Covid 19 virus, the Chinese are saying they'd identified it as a probable threat to humanity ant were trying to develop a vaccine/antidote to it. Well, having done a bit of research myself, this is my theory.
Notice how the virus initially was only killing the elderley and the very sick, then it began to kill young people, well one thing the young had in common was a particular gene, then it started to kill black people. Now I don't know how much you know about genetics, but there are many genes and these govern things like what sex a baby will be, it's eye colour and just about everything else, different races also have genes that are common only to that race, which is how that ancestry DNA thing works, if a white man had say a black relative in his past then he'd have that particular gene in his makeup. This is where it gets interesting, any virus can be modified, if you know how to do it, it's done all around the world in laboratories day in, day out,
Now, lets imagine that a particular group of people have a particular gene type, say black people have one that we'll call GE09, now if we modify the virus so it will only attack, people with the GE09, gene we can, in some way control it, it will only attack those carrying that gene, blacks, or people of mixed race (half caste's), so there we go, we can easily remove one 'problem' group of people, from the world. Then we take the Americans, now a lot of Americans are of Irish descent, so lets suppose that most Americans have a gene, we'll call this one GE10, now all we do is tweak our virus slightly and 'tell' it to attack the GE10 gene, now we have a virus that will specifically attack, in simple terms, the Americans.
Of course we could simply identify our own gene, the one we want to preserve, again lets suppose that all Chinese people carry a gene called GE11, so we modify the virus to NOT attack anyone carrying this gene, now we've got a virus that will kill anyone who isn't Chinese, now you're probably going to say, "hang on, but some Chinese have died", yes, but they may have not been 'pure blood' Chinese, say a grandparent, or great grandparent wasn't Chinese, then their DNA would be different, in the same way as the DNA of a white person from a totally white background will be different from a white person who has a black relative somewhere in their past.
This may all sound like science fiction, but it's actually science fact, anything can be genetically modified, look at the way they modified certain types of plant to enable them to be resistant to certain plant diseases. Now doing it the way they have done is rather cunning, it makes the change appear natural, remember this virus is of a type known as a zoonosis, one that made the leap from only affecting animals, to affecting humans, normally this process takes quite a bit of time, but not in this case, again another indication that it's man made. Those of us of a certain age will remember experiments that were done with bombs some years ago, first we had conventional bombs, yes they'd kill, but only over a relatively small area, and along with the deaths, we got massive damage to property, then we got nuclear bombs, they'd kill over a wider area, yes there was more property damage to, but not as much as a conventional bomb, when you took into account the number of people killed, one drawback however was the radiation which made the area useless for many years. Later on they looked at, and I believe, developed a bomb which on detonation created a sound wave of a specific frequency that just, in laymans terms, shredded peoples internal organs, so now you had something that killed everybody, but didn't cause building damage, an important consideration perhaps, the only trouble being that it was still possible to identify who had fired it, that's when Bio-weapons came to the fore, you could effectively release one and it wold be very hard to prove it's origins. I remember an old man telling me many years ago that we shouldn't fear the Russians, however we should be very wary of the Chinese, asa they had the most rapidly expanding population in the world, and a limited land mass into which to expand, I fear he was correct You need only look at the way they are trying to involve themselves in a variety of things worldwide, from parts for the 5G network to cctv camera's and beyond. It emerged a couple of years ago that a certain make of cctv camera system was being sold cheaply becasue it was supported by the Chinese government, and more alarmingly that the servers used to allow you to watch your camera's from your phone or remotely on a PC, were actually owned by the Chinese government, a fact that caused some alarm when it was discovered that the UK government had actually installed some of these systems in it's buildings.
So there we have it, it's my theory that the Chinese are attempting to take over the world, I hope that I've presented you with some facts and information to help you consider this, rather than a lot of conspiracy theories, that are based on nothing. Stay safe people.

"Many older people are being "airbrushed" out of coronavirus figures in the UK, charities have warned.

The official death toll has been criticised for only covering people who die in hospital - but not those in care homes or in their own houses.

Work and Pensions Secretary Therese Coffey told the BBC the daily figure was based on hospital deaths because "it's accurate and quick".

Meanwhile, scientists will begin a review of the UK lockdown later."

This is a rebate on car insurance? I was reading that California insurance companies are struggling morethan other states giving the rebate; and the california government is threatening to step in and force a 15% rebate if they don’t do it voluntarily.

it was first called Wuhan, but Chinese people didn’t like this... it put too much blame on a people or a government, Any how, they then change it to Coronavirus, but then covid19. You see it is WHO, who has deemed itself the official name giver. Human disease preparedness and response is WHO's role, so diseases are officially named by WHO in the International Classification of Diseases.

seems they spent more time giving it a name then they did to ensure preparedness. WHO dropped the ball! They never even investigated the virus when it first was brought up by dr.s in China, who were called liars and out in jail.

Wuhan is no longer on lockdown and people are being allowed back to work after 79 days of lockdown. April 8 all were back to work, Wuhan being the last to list the ban. Wuhan had something like 2000 deaths, according to the Chinese government, Is this virus still going there, But the Chinese government simply wants to get things moving again and supply the world with their wants or needs again? Personally I think CCP virus is a good name,

I really believe we have to stop relying on China and other countries for our wants and needs, self sufficient rather than dependant.

Certainly a lot more at least, with medical gear and equipment. If the healthcare system and certain treatments stagnate because of a lack of proper mouthcaps (among other stuff), that is just too sad and unneccesary. And the threat is there in the Netherlands. I think personnel in several american hospitals are already forced to work without proper protection. Which is as we know not only a deadly risk to themselves.
I took notice of some superb initiatives in my country, like a company that makes bed sheets or something that is now out of work anyway, that is now adapting its machinery in order to make a shitload of proper mouthcaps on short notice :) And in the meanwhile a lot of people are making them also by hand! :) As a buffer. Definitely not a longtime solution. One doctor or nurse goes through several mouthcaps a day...

yep, corporations have moved production to China, I think any company who is not originating in China should stop producing there, bring it back home to where ever that might be. have companies that will let you as a people and country be self reliant. Stock pile for your own in case of emergencies. Relying on the UN andWHO is Bullshit. Anyways, relying on countries that have slave labour and child slave labour is not the way to go in my opinion. It is exploited. Not our governments job to save other countries either. let China care for their own slaves. Why should American, Canadian, english, Scottish, Netherlands Australia, Belgium, Germany, France, etc.. why should this be supported through running production there?

all I can say is invest in companies within your own borders. It will help and probably become successful. Natural resources.. Hydro, oil, natural gas, and surgical masks production in your own country, etc... Glad that is where my investments have been put.

I think it depends on the kind of company. Electronics... not so much. Besides, plenty of stuff is owned by a company from a country like the Netherlands, partly produced in a country like China, South Korea etc. and then assembled/finished in like the US.

I won’t buy from amazon either. They have slave labour in the USA, Canada and anywhere else they have mailing facilities. Their prices are not as good as you think either. Screw consumers who are willing to support child and slave labour. Needs and wants. Apple and any company that is producing in China, India, the Middle East, etc... when you buy it you are supporting it. Go to farmers markets. Support local businesses. Do you need all those shoes, do you need all those clothes? There are production of shoes that are not using slave and child labour within your own country.

Made in the USA Shoe Brands We're Loving in 2018

    or for the Netherlands.

    Inspired by nature

hey and only 30 Dutch shoe makers remain in the metherlands... get yourself some and wear them. Support your countrymen. :).

My fridge is even made in the western world, yep. I do my part to say no to the global bs. And my fridge has lasted for about 15 years so far and still going strong.

Interesting shoe tip :) And hey, one of the positive effects of this crisis could be a return of consumers to local produce. It was already promoted and a trend among people who care about the environment, but now a lot of other people will simply out of practical reasons (and to support businesses that are suffering because of the crisis of course). The changes made to facilitate this could become structural and last even after global economy and commerce returns to normal :)

I am hopeful. :). It is interesting. I agree with industry returning, but not for selfish reasons, because of the slave labour and far less than ethical governments. Not than any is perfect, but I can say trump is way better than what we have, his reasons for wanting to bring industry home i don’t know, But I see a lot of good things in that happening. I agree with supporting locally, then I go out from there, when necessities are not available locally. Will even, if necessary, have it made locally. Will cost me more at first, but it will last, it will save me in the long run and has, in the need to replace it. Wants for me are not much.

Not getting into it a lot further here, but his idea to bring jobs back to the US is of course very valid. You say: "I see a lot of good things in that happening", that's where we disagree. The idea is imo undoubtedly good in intent but the rigid way Trump went about it isn't in a lot of instances. I see a lot of dubious or unfortunate things happening in the process.
You know I and most others on here disagree with you about that your prime minister is far worse than Trump ;) Not getting into that here again.

I hadn't heard that. That's interesting. If California is struggling or deviating from the other places where rebates are being offered, Sacramento's "Bee" news agency did not report it.

I found an article titled as shown here:

The accompanying article says I could get 20% of my premiums for March, April, & May. :)

I read it I think here? Funny that gas prices rise though, no tax cuts at all happening in California? Highest rates are there by 16 cents I think?

I just got off the phone with the insurance company. They confirmed that there will be a 20% refund sometime in May.
