vivid dreams from beign dry?

whenever im in a dry spell(very often lol) i always have very vivid dreams and usually can remember most of them with quite alot of detail i ahd a very interesting one last night that included a hot girl from my school last year, me, will ferrell, 50 cent, a bus that didnt allow white people, and a neighborhood in NC that i lived in in 4th and 5th grade....strange

I've never noticed a difference associated with weed.

 

i never dream until i stop smoking and then there really vivid its crazy.

 

i noticed the same thing. i stoped for like 2 weeks and i had really vivid dreams its wierd

 

I usually have more vivid dreams when I haven't smoked in a while as well...

 

i have great dreams ever night but i ushily forget then shortly after i wake
buy when im dry for little while i always remember them

I'd have to say that when I was dry for a bit over the summer I was having some very crazy dreams. A lot of the time I was dreaming about getting high with my roomates and friends from back in CA.

 

I've never really had noticably different dreams from just weed (or lack of it), but alot of SSRI's (especially Zoloft) have been known to cause unbelievably vivid dreams in many patients.

 

well im not on any meds or anything so that couldnt be it. i jsut have really vivid memorable dreams when i toke for while and then go dry, they usually start about 2 weeks into the dry period

 

I once read that weed destroys a certain *something* in your brain that is necessary in your REM sleep... if you go to sleep while you're stoned you will have a less vivid dream.... I don't know the whole story, but I remember that I read it on this forum so SOMEBODY OUT THERE must know the truth....

 

when your stoned, your dreams arent less vivid. you jut cant remember them vividly.

it happens to me too.

i think its more a mental thing. since when your being stoned, your not remembering your dreams (practically at all, but ive remembered a lucid dream prolly twice after being awak a few minutes, but not at all now, people are differnet but the trend is that you cant remember dreams when your stoned.
i think its partly the mental thing of the fact that you subsequently find dreams that you remember, much more amazing than you used to before smoking.

i love it though, it makes short dry spells turn into DMT-rich adventures!

lucid dreams have to be the most awesome dreams ever. i dont believe ive ever really remembered a dream that wasnt at least lucidly controllable

ive had a couple of wierd dreams sinc ebeing dry, the one i mentioned before and another that involved my mom sitting in our smoke circle and giving us all coke to snort.
