    Are you kidding me?

    You want to steal doctors?

From where? Like India, where it's one doctor for every 11,000 people or from Europe? At this time?

Pretend it's all about multiculturalism and racial equality when you are really just thinking about stealing doctors

    Disgusting

No, not at all... except for the fact that unless the boat is in the air, you can't logically "shoot it down". Your buddy Trump is a fucking moron, sorry to break the news.

    Can you define this "bullshit"?

People said he was racist and he is doing racist things. So you are saying he is doing racist things because people accused him of it not because he is a racist? This is all a clever move in 4d chess I guess.

    I am so confused.

    Again with the doctors

For the next couple months, don't think any other country is going to let you steal their doctors

Except maybe Chyna, they can plant a few double agents

Well, this puts a whole damper on the "experts" warned Trump and he didn't act early enough thing

"Experts" didn't even realise when the first cases were until now

"Two people who died in California in early and mid February have been confirmed through autopsies as coronavirus cases - weeks before the first reported COVID-19 fatality in the United States.

The deaths, on February 6 and February 17, push back the timeline for the entry of the virus on US soil, experts said.

Given what we know about how long it takes for the virus to kill people, the disease began to spread in the US sometime between early and mid January."

Doctor says he was removed from federal post after opposing funding for unproven drugs

    excerpt:

"The former head of the federal office that will be at the forefront of developing a cure for COVID-19 said he was forced out after he prioritized science instead of promoting unproven treatments.

In a statement, Rick Bright said he was removed as the director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) because he limited the broad use of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine, two drugs that President Trump repeatedly pushed as potential cures without evidence.

The New York Times was the first to report Bright's statement.

Bright was moved to a narrower job at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)."

Trump Organization seeks bailout money from UK and Ireland

    excerpt:

"The Trump Organization is seeking bailout money from the United Kingdom and Ireland to help pay furloughed employees at its European golf properties during the coronavirus pandemic.

The company owned by President Trump is allowed to access government funding to pay most employees' salaries, but it’s unclear whether the organization would pay the balance of the salaries for furloughed workers, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday.

The Irish subsidy program provides companies with money to pay 70 percent of furloughed staff’s weekly take-home pay, with a cap, if they are on payroll. In the U.K., 80 percent of workers’ salaries is paid, capped at about $2,700."

Biden leads in three crucial Rust Belt states: Poll

    excerpt:

"The Reuters-Ipsos poll found that among registered voters in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, 45 percent backed Biden, while 39 percent backed Trump.

In a state-by-state breakdown, Biden led Trump by 3 points in Wisconsin, 6 points in Pennsylvania and 8 points in Michigan.

A separate Reuters-Ipsos poll Tuesday found Biden with an 8-point lead over the president nationally.

The poll also found Trump’s approvals underwater in all three states, albeit by narrower margins than his national approvals. Forty-seven percent of registered Wisconsin voters approve of the president, compared with 53 percent who disapprove, while in Pennsylvania, 48 percent approve and 52 percent disapprove. In Michigan, 44 percent approve and 56 percent disapprove."

Coronavirus live updates: Financial catastrophe looms for state and local governments
The impact of the fiscal crisis "will be even worse than the Great Recession — by a factor of at least two," warned one mayor.

Trump campaign hits local TV station with cease-and-desist over coronavirus ad

    excerpt:

"Trump campaign hits local TV station with cease-and-desist over coronavirus ad

President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign has sent a cease-and-desist letter to a TV station in Michigan over a Democratic super PAC ad that they say misleadingly accuses Trump of being soft on China at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump’s campaign earlier this month sued a Wisconsin TV station and sent cease-and-desist letters to other swing-state TV stations over an ad from a different Democratic super PAC, Priorities USA. The latest cease-and-desist letter, obtained by NBC News, targets WOOD, an NBC affiliate in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and demands the station stop running “a false, misleading, and deceptive advertisement” produced by an offshoot of the Democratic group American Bridge.

The ad, which Trump also attacked in a tweet, accuses Trump of trusting China even though, the narrator says, “everyone knew they lied about the virus.” And it suggests the Trump administration shipped 17 tons of medical supplies the U.S. now needs to China in the early days of the outbreak, before it was widespread in the United States."

Trump (the Company) Asks Trump (the Administration) for Hotel Relief
The president’s family business pays at least $3 million a year to the federal government for the lease on its D.C. hotel, which is all but empty because of the virus. The next monthly payment is coming due.

Trump (the Company) Asks Trump (the Administration) for Hotel Relief

    excerpt:

"President Trump’s signature hotel in the nation’s capital wants a break on the terms of its lease. The landlord determining the fate of the request is Mr. Trump’s own administration.

Trump International Hotel, just a few blocks from the White House, had been a favored gathering place for lobbyists, foreign dignitaries and others hoping to score points with the president. But like most hotels, it is now nearly empty and looking to cut costs because of the coronavirus pandemic.

In recent weeks, the president’s family business has inquired about changing its lease payments, according to people familiar with the matter, which the federal government has reported amount to nearly $268,000 per month."

Hydroxychloroquine expert suggests doctors should halt prescriptions for COVID-19 patients after 'concerning' study

Hydroxychloroquine expert suggests doctors should halt prescriptions for COVID-19 patients after 'concerning' study

    excerpts:

"It’s been just over two weeks since President Trump announced that his administration had ordered over 29 million doses of the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as a treatment for coronavirus patients. But in a new preliminary report, doctors from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs found evidence of what experts have been warning about all along — that the drug may cause more harm than good.

The study, to be clear, was conducted on a small sample size and has yet to be peer-reviewed. But its results echo anecdotal evidence that has been building about the dangers of the drug. In it, researchers analyzed the medical records of 368 male patients with COVID-19 from March 9 to April 11, at which point the men had either been discharged or had died. Researchers found that the death rate of those who were not given the drug was 11.4 percent, while the death rate of those who were treated with hydroxychloroquine was 27.8 percent — more than double.

“An association of increased overall mortality was identified in patients treated with hydroxychloroquine alone,” the authors write. “These findings highlight the importance of awaiting the results of ongoing prospective, randomized, controlled studies before widespread adoption of these drugs.”"

"This is another piece of evidence that I would say goes beyond anecdotal. This makes it all that much more clear — as it’s been pretty clear to some of us all along — that unless and until we have a proper randomized clinical trial, we’re speculating and going on our hunches. And that’s not a good way to decide how to treat people with a potentially fatal disease like COVID-19. We have to be very clear this doesn’t prove that these drugs have caused these deaths. But it certainly raises concern that use of [HCQ] may be contributing to the risk of death — without any clear evidence of benefit."

How Trump’s COVID-19 Failure Betrayed Our Military and Veterans
President Trump’s coronavirus fantasies didn’t just mislead the American people—they hamstrung the military and prevented the VA system from being able to prepare for the pandemic.

How Trump’s COVID-19 Failure Betrayed Our Military and Veterans - The Bulwark

    excerpt:

"The failure of Donald Trump’s administration to heed warnings and prepare for the arrival of COVID-19 have been well documented.

Less well understood is the extent to which Trump also failed to protect both America’s armed forces and veterans, too.

The novel coronavirus is currently spreading among active duty military with more than 3,000 positive cases documented. Meanwhile our veterans are being put in vulnerable positions in facilities susceptible to spread for the virus as their healthcare providers have been forced to ration personal protective equipment at the same time that staffing shortfalls and vacancies threaten the ability to serve increasing numbers of infected patients and staff. As of April 17, the VA system had 5,468 documented positive cases and 339 veterans had officially died from COVID-19 in addition to 10 VA healthcare workers.

The same nightmare the rest of the country has experienced over the last month is unfolding within the VA and the Department of Defense. And the causes are the same, too: a lack of preparation, equipment, and supplies."

Well, now we know you had the virus running around California a couple weeks earlier than previously thought, and it took the "experts" two months to realise this.

So there goes any theory of Trump not acting early enough
