There's no reason to falsely keep it into practice if there are other measures to take over its purpose (like hand washing or wearing mouthcaps in public). Fact is they all help.

You say the purpose is giving the citizens a fake sense of security. Pretty much everyone else acknowledges that it decreases the spreading rate. Why that's needed has been explained. But you seem at odds with that as well... Like, it has no use in hard hit areas in our countries because it doesn't work in India or an african country. Lol
