You can, but 1) you remain to be a minority who thinks so. And 2) other people may reserve the right to ridicule (and maybe even scorn) you because of it. I for one support them.

good advice Asmo, fresh air is good advice regarding this covid19, I get fresh air every day. I just went to the bank, walked there... as I walk or ride a bike places. But this time I did not enter the bank. Nope. Covid19 is in it! So I will travel and get more fresh air and hopefully avoid contact with those who also have it, Shut down for three days to disinfect the place, maybe longer. All the workers in there have been told to self isolate for the next two weeks. I might even dance my way past these infected germy people on the street.

I'm in San Diego, I can't even get my driver's licensed renewed at the moment, so it's not something I've really thought about. If it's a free take home test I probably would, I doubt I'd wait in an absurd line for one.

 

Yes, perhaps you can have the test delivereD to your home. Personally I think every household should receive them for every member of their family. Disinfect the packaging for the test too.

healthcare workers in Canada are not being tested for the virus at all. My sister is considered front lines. She is currently home. Anyways, the rule here is don’t test the healthcare workers, that way there is no stats on it. If it is tested and reported, It will just keep people away from the hospitals out of fear.

Lucky! Here it is not the case. Basically it is simply assumed that they are probably positive I guess, but they are not tested. If they show symptoms then they might be removed from treating others. They could be carriers but this is not the concern. I think that is rather counter productive. If they are tested, will there be enough doctors and nurses as well? We already have a shortage of Doctors here.

the dr. My sister was working under has been moved to internal medicine at the hospital and out of his speciality.
Basically many have been moved to IM for now to deal with this. They are also saying this is going to go one for a few more months here, according to Canada’s Minister of health.
