While I've been home over the last 5 weeks I've spent 2 hours a day on the exercise bicycle, I do sit-ups, push-ups, lift weights,
eat fruits and vegetables, and I take a multi-vitamin each morning.

I haven't had this much time to read in over 30 years, I get plenty of sun puttering around the garden, and after what should be our
final freeze warning until next fall, I can start my plantings which will require even more time out in the sun.

You're just assuming everyone is glued to the TV set all day and has domino pizza delivery on speed-dial.

 

In what universe is 10,000 Britons being me 'assuming everyone'?

 

I can only offer you an example of how I'm personally coping through all this, and neither you nor I can know what everyone else is doing.

 

Pretty safe bet at least a few percent are sitting on their ass

Maybe I'm just ignorant, but why purposefully infecting perfectly healthy people instead of asking those who are already ill to volunteer ? They already have nothing to lose and there is no shortage of them either.

 

Lol, this is deadly virus guys please be scared for your life, but we need a few volunteers to be infected so we can test things.

 

I don't have the slightest clue how this is considered ethical.
