Some of us are also going through the same experiences, but it seems our mental ability to withstand the isolation is better than others.

    *is dead to Irminsul*

But in my defence, I knew it was a quote from somewhere AND I found it funny without needing to know.

Fear doesn't really help, in this scenario. If fear doesn't produce a useful reaction, it should be overcome.

This whole situation is about nothing more than preventing hospitals from becoming overwhelmed, which would lead to unnecessary deaths. We all have a moral duty to do our bit to help, but being an unknown quantity is is going to be hit and miss.
All that I can suggest is taking relaxations in the rules with care. If people LIMIT social interaction they will work, but if people rush around and intermingle with dozens of other people, we will be back to square one. Avoiding crowded public transport and socializing in smaller groups will be a big help.
I personally think that large bars should remain closed, along with cinemas and theaters. Some small community bars could start to open.

I partially agree, but don't the health workers and emergency services also have rights.?
I wonder whether the people doing the most shouting will be quite happy to sit at home and unnecessarily die when the hospitals are full.
We do need laws to protect people, such as not being allowed to drive without a licence, or walking along the railway tracks to save a few minutes on our way to work.
Most people are happy to comply with the current restrictions, as long as they are seen to be reasonable.
Does knowing now that more than 1,000 have died in nursing homes as a result of a few visitors bringing the virus in seem fair to you.???
    Life is rarely simple.

I had it last year, before it became trendy, lol. I came back from working away and felt bloody awful, now I've had the flu before, and I mean proper flu, not just a bad cold, and I kept going, I'm one of those, I worked for about 6 weeks with a fractured wrist, so I'm hardly a wimp!
Well, at first I did think it was just a bad cold, mild flu at the worst, then it got worse and worse, I went from a bit of a sore throat to cold shivers, then hot sweats and finally struggling to get my breath, which is my own fault because I smoke, right.
I tried cold remedies, I tried cough cures, all sorts of pills and potions, nothing worked, then I started to feel like I had a load of crap in my lungs but couldn't shift it, then my wife went down with it, she was bad too.
We spent 3 days in bed, only venturing out to use the toilet, or get a drink, we didn't even want to think about food. I remember one night, well about 2 am, I woke up and the bed was soaked, my wife woke up and asked what the matter was, "I'm freezing cold and to make it worse I've pissed in bed" I moaned, she felt the bed, it was soaking, then she said something about me sweating, it was pouring out of me, yet I felt ice cold, then I began to burn up, it was awful, I was over the worst in about 10 days, but I felt weak for ages afterwards, it's the worst thing I've had and I wouldn't want it again. It was only when it all came out over here a couple of moths ago that I realised what we must have had.

The only time I get “concerned” is when a person around me coughs or sneezes. Yesterday I was actually TERRIFIED because I went to an optometrist and the lady that was taking my pressure readings for my eyes, kept coughing! Over and over- and to the point where she had to stop what she was doing and let out a barrage of dry coughs for 30 seconds! Before this virus started, that never would have bothered me in the least bit- but yesterday I was actually scared quite a bit, I’m not gonna bullshit you.
I understand people need to get back to work, but there’s a percentage of the population that doesn’t know or even care if they have it, and they will go on about their business.

The last time you may see your family up close or ANYONE you like or love, for that matter, is before you go to the hospital, and then if you don’t come out of it......you die alone. You become a name on a sticky note attached to a body bag in a freezer truck, with the hopes that one day- hopefully- your family at least gets YOUR ashes. Hell yeah that scares the shit out of me.

I don’t know if the virus can survive in a water-borne environment - haven’t heard anything about that.

there were a few (2-3) in a small town nearby but its all healed. but the bigger cities have multiple cases. it might be the population density adding to the problem
