Storm, actually you are a little bit wrong on that. The 25th district covers the Antelope Valley(Palmdale, and Lancaster), too. Not a whole lotta rich folks there. The district had been republican until 2018, when Katy Hill won. The district is considered purple. Like I said, I think it was somewhat of a backlash vote. A lot of people voted for Katy, and now a lot of them feel like they were duped. I expect Garcia to make some stupid comments between now, and November, so it may go Democratic, again.
Kind of like the "If you don't agree with Rump, and /or the Repubs on everything, you must be a communist or rabid socialist." Right??? The street goes 2 ways. You can't claim the high ground while standing in a muddy swamp. The image that's commonly painted by those "he-man, tough-guy" Repub bastards of a Dem - or any non-Repub - is one of a pale, wienie-type, mommy's boy who still has stuffed animals for toys. A political label doesn't make anyone tough, so save the candy-ass name-calling and the broad paint brush. For the record, I'm not in a fetal position sucking my thumb & waiting for mommy to hug me. You actually might shit your pants if you met me and accused me of being a namby-pamby sort. You might also be VERY, VERY surprised at what items are in my home and possession, and the YEARS of experience I have with them. I TRUST NO ONE. Therefore, I use the brain and eyes that God gave me to sift through silly attempts to lie, distort truth, evade facts, deny facts, and put a spit-shine on a pile of shit. When I see bear tracks in new wet snow …………. no one …………….. NO ONE ……………... will convince me that a rabbit made the tracks. You see...……… the evidence is RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF ME TO SEE. Such is today's political shit-show.
Why even say shit like this? It only seems to confirm my opinion of rabid leftism. What's next, "I know where you live" kind of stuff? Just because I don't cut any slack for the left doesn't mean I'm sucking cock for the right. That's the part that never seems to sink in on either side. The way you write is interesting, I'd love to see your handwriting!
I hope so. And I was thinking Antelope Valley + Lancaster + Palmdale + Little Rock were all a part of the same district as Victorville and Barstow? I guess that I was wrong? I hope you are right and they go for another Democrat in November. It wouldn't make a difference too much because there are so many Democrats in the House now. But I live in a place where my House Rep is Republican. And I feel that I have no representation because he only wants to serve White Christian Millionaires … no one like me.
What I can't stand about Dems is they don't say things strongly enough. Its sounds like they don't have enough strong conviction about what they say or propose. They try to protect the environment and workers' rights / safety, and fair districting / elections, but they sound too squeamish when they speak about those things. Repubs speak out strongly, but their REAL goals are hidden behind untruths and deceptive speech - which completely fools the avg. "good guy / girl Republican" into thinking their lives will somehow be better with their proposals. History proves the Republican party's actions always favor the rich, and the corporate elite types. Just look at the Rump-cheered tax overhaul. Who got the lion's share of those tax breaks??? Even Warren Buffet said publicly, "People like me don't need more tax breaks. The tax breaks need to go to the people that need it and will put it to work in our economy." Do any of us on here know more about money and finances than Warren Buffet???? Please ………………….. don't even make the attempt.
I guess, but, where do the rich democrats come from? And how many of them decline tax breaks? Class issues transcend politics.
Victorville, and Barstow are in a district that is more conservative. The rep out there is a real winner, not. They make war planes in Palmdale, and Garcia was a fighter pilot. He's got is tongue so far up trump's ass, he can see his throat.
That's right ! I also remember an aero-plane repair facility over there just east of Mohave on highway 58.
Republican Projected To Win Democratic House Seat In California Special Election slowly getting rid of the infestation
The 25th district seat in CA has been Republican since 1993 with the exception of 2019 when Democrat Katie Hill held it for less than a year after resigning due to a scandal. The special election for the heavily conservative 7th disctrict in WI wasn't a flipping from Democrat to Republican. The two special elections in May 2020 don't indicate a red wave in 2020.
Panic This is crap and you know it It’s an old culture war standby – a little bit of victimhood (oh those lefties are so nasty) a little bit of projection (leftie arguments are so simplistic) and a cartload of lies. The confederate flag is the symbol of a racist nation just as the flag with the swastika on it was. Are you saying that the people that wear or wave such racist flags are too stupid to realise that? Personally I don’t think they are stupid I think they know exactly what it means but I do think they are been extremely dishonest when they say it has nothing to do with racism And if you think the membership of Hipforums is so childish you can always leave.
World agog as Trump flails over pandemic despite claims US leads way The president’s outlandish behavior as Americans suffer has inspired horror and confusion while alienating allies Julian Borger in Washington, Helen Davidson in Sydney, Leyland Cecco in Toronto, Daniel Boffey in Brussels Philip Oltermann in Berlin, Angela Giuffrida in Rome, Tom Phillips in Rio de Janeiro and Emmanuel Akinwotu in London Fri 15 May 2020 04.00 EDT World agog as Trump flails over pandemic despite claims US leads way excerpt: "Esmir Milavić, an editor at Bosnia’s N1 TV channel, told viewers this week: “The White House is in utter dysfunction and doesn’t speak with one voice.” Milavić said: “The vice-president is wearing a mask, while the president doesn’t; some staffers wear them, some don’t. Everybody acts as they please. As time passes, White House begins to look more and more like the Balkans.” After Trump’s disinfectant comments, Beppe Severgnini, a columnist for Italy’s Corriere della Sera, said in a TV interview: “Trying to get into Donald Trump’s head is more difficult than finding a vaccine for coronavirus. First he decided on a lockdown and then he encouraged protests against the lockdown that he promoted. It’s like a Mel Brooks film.” In several countries, the local health authorities have felt obliged to put out statements to counter “health advice” coming from the White House, concerning the ingestion of disinfectant and taking hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial drug found to be ineffective against Covid-19 and potentially lethal."
Coronavirus is enough reason to protect Paul Manafort's health but not the average meat packing house worker?
