I know, it's february and way far ahead. but there's no sense in running around in November with your head cut off because you haven't started yet.

At my work I've picked up a few balls of funky yarn and I'm making the women in my family some neat scarves... I've got 10 to knit all together, it's going to take me a while.... if this crocheted purse pattern that I'm inventing works out, I may make a few of those as well for my mom and gramma or something. Not sure what to make for the guys yet, but if you can inspire me...

 

Make them socks Or a beer cozy What could you make for a guy... its a tough call

Girl I swear that you are smoking craft crack!!!! I do not know anyone who does as much crafty biznass as you. I read your post to my friends because they think my obsession with re painting the house is too crafty!

guys are hard to shop/make for... hm... how about something for their car if they're car guys? I'm sure more experienced knitters can make seat covers or something

 

You could make a big quilt or afgan for your guy in his favorite team colors. It shows that you know what he's into and that you care about his interests. Of corse, the best thing about giving him a big afgan is that you can help him warm up under it

 

you know what the problem is about making stuff ahead of time?

i always end up selling em at schwagstock, or some other cool festival... rawr, so then im STILL running around in december like a chicken with its head cut off!

 

just a post, in case you guys are DYING to know, the crochet purse turned out quite well, I posted the instructions in this forum, so I'll be making a few of those for my secret santas.

 

you could make him a pouch to store his peice if he smokes, I made my hubby a huge floor pillow because he spends so much time on the floor playing video games or writting. uuummm that's hard....
