okay I have a question. say a cop pretended to be a dealer on the street. and you went over to him to buy some weed and then he slapped hand cuffs on you. does that ever happen? could a cop do that?
yes a cop very well could do that, because you approached him about the weed and you had clear intent to buy it. if he approaches you and says he is gonna stab you or beat your ass if you dont buy some weed and you get scared and buy some and then he arrests you thats entrapment and you cant be legaly charged. edit: Trippin, i told you people wouldnt use the subs
If you don't know the guy (even though this is kinda wierd to do) just ask him if he's a cop. If he says no then arrests you then that's entrapment also.
even if u dont ask him, and he tries to push the weed on you, if u have a good enough lawyer u can still claim entrapment and will win.
Actually thats not true, cops are allowed to lie to you if they are undercover. How many times have u seen undercover prostitution or drug stings where the person says "You a cop?" cop says "No"

Btw.. the telivision shows i were referring to are the REAL LIFE police shows like COPS. Do the research before u try to degrade my character with bullshit.
the simple solution: dont buy drugs off random people you dont know, always stick with a trustworthy source youve known long enough and this wont happen
don't buy off people you don't know... Its easy for me, and most teens who buy from fellow teens. Don't know many 16 year olds who are cops.... although doing undercover work as a kid would be sweet... haha
