gech, why do bands do awful covers of songs? if they have a recording contract, surely they can come up with their own stuff. I can understand if they're still all independent, but when you're signed to a major label... blech.

Correction. Ska and reggae are in a totally different class. You actually have to have talent to play reggae. Reggae is actually harder to play than some rock because the emphasis is on the upbeat. Bobs music came from the heart.

Taking a crap takes more talent than it takes to play punk rock. H*ll most punk rock sounds like a person with anger issues taking a crap. Hey I think I 'll start a punk band. For the guitar I'll get a beat up cheap *ss Les Paul copy and bang on the same 3 chords. For vocals I'll put a microphone near my cat while I smash his b*lls with a hammer. I'll call my first song "I hate the World" or maybe "Smashed cat's b*ll's blues"

 

I wouldn't go as far to say that APC is a band with no talent.
