I.m 38 and still living with my mom for both health and financial reasons. I feel you and the eye issues my mom had both her eyes operated on last summer and it didn't really fix much. I lived on my own from 18 to 25 then moved back in with my parents as as i was only a few weeks away from being homeless because i could find decent work

yes it is and i was hiding how bad things had gotten from my parents out of shame and i live 2 hours away from them. But my dad traveled a lot for work so one day he showed up at my house for a surprise visit as he was passing through. we sat around talking for a couple hours then i went to the rest room and sneaky dad went snooping through my kitchen. were he found almost no food so he took me out to dinner and by the end of dinner he told me to pack my shit and move back home. so i did and he got me a job with the company he worked for

I never know what to say, but was interested in what this thread was all about. I see some others are in their 30s or early 40s here too. That's cool! Not that I'm ageist or anything. Just might have more in common with those closer to my age. I dunno!

@Candy Gal I've been a member almost 4 years now, but was away for like the last year or so, maybe popped in once or twice. When I did, I remember seeing some of your posts. How could I forget Betty! Anyway, thanks for the welcome and it's cool to actually speak to you for once!

I'm not really doing anything to speak of right now. Lol So boring, I know! Trying to think...i mean, damn! Lots of crazy shit happening in the world these days since I've last really visited. Hard not to mention that! But so because of it, I have no exciting adventures to speak of. The most exciting thing was visiting my parents' cats the other day when they went to visit my sister. I mean, that WAS exciting for me! But normal for most maybe. Lol
