What is that all about?

 

So... today I decided to go in and have my blood drawn because I thought my doctor (psychiatrist) ordered bloodwork. They like to keep tabs on how the body is processing/reacting to the medication (I'm on Abilify) and order blood tests every 6 months or every year; I forget which. Well, it's a fasting blood test, so I can't eat or drink after midnight the day before. And no coffee!

I got there early because I don't want to spend the whole day hungry. I waited from 05:30 to 06:00 outside playing DuoLingo (Russian) on my phone, standing there on an x they've taped onto the sidewalk to incorporate social distancing. Finally, at 06:04 or something they do my intake and put me into the computer. But when I get back to the medical room they tell me that there's no order for blood work. He forgot to send the order?! Omg... I was a little bummed.

Later I will call the office and try to get them to send an order. When they finally do, I'll need an email receipt or something, lol.

EDIT: Oh yea... and my Подруга is feeling better. (girlfriend) Her medicine makes her sleepy though.

 

Ahhh so a big fry up breakfast - eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, baked beans, fried tomatoes, mushrooms and a side order of toast - all washed down with a large mug of coffee.

 

Just had nice walk at lunch in sunny. Really hot and now can't be bothered lol.

 

Well, I'm almost 55, its 28C in the shade and I'm feeling grumpy, I hope it pisses it down soon and keeps the idiots off the streets.

Don't worry, the way they organse things these days it'll probably be ground force, lol. I called my doctor's office to see what's going on with their blood work order. The nurse wasn't available so I politely left a message for him to please call me at his convenience.

Me too. I was so sure he told me to go ahead and get the lab work done during our last appointment though... Lol
