WHO admits coronavirus can travel through the air

"After being urged by hundreds of experts to change its advice, the World Health Organisation (WHO) will review mounting evidence pointing to airborne transmission of the coronavirus posing a threat to indoor spaces.

More than 200 experts called on the agency to review its guidance – that COVID-19 can only be contracted in two ways – in an open letter, accusing the organisation of underplaying airborne transmission’s risk, particularly in poorly ventilated rooms or confined spaces like public transport"

Unlikely its exactly true, other wise it would have spread faster

More likely it still just means it suspends in air for only minutes, but double the length of time their previous estimates based on influenza gave

That one out of Florida this month, that the social distancing distance should have always been 13ft instead of 6 as an example

You know what it means though, if you are inside, with poor ventilation, face masks would be useless without eye protection, and youd have to be constantly washing all exposed skin and your clothes

    Belgrade

"Police and protesters have been hurt in riots that broke out outside the National Assembly in the Serbian capital Belgrade.

The protests began peacefully on Tuesday evening and included students and families, angered by a decision to re-impose a weekend curfew because of a rise in coronavirus infections.

Protesters broke into the assembly, prompting police to intervene.

Clashes erupted and police fired tear gas to disperse the protesters."

We are waiting now that they explain better what is an "emerging evidence" of airbone spreading of the virus.

Any virus can be spread in the air, what they mean is basically that if you cough or sneeze then it will travel further, we all know that from the common cold, that's why as a child you are taught to use a handkerchief, or to cough or sneeze into your arm. Personally I think the WHO have suffered a big dent in their credibility recently and they are now just trying to scaremonger.

Coronavirus updates: US nears 3M cases; Florida hospital ICUs reaching capacity; movie theater chains sue to reopen in New Jersey
    7/8/20

Hospitalizations continued to rise and ICU beds were quickly filling as the nation reached the brink of 3 million coronavirus cases Wednesday.

The stunning milestone will hit less than six months after the first confirmed case was reported January 21, in Everett, Washington. The virus has killed more than 130,000 Americans.

In Florida, seeing an ominous surge in cases, at least 56 hospital intensive care units have reached capacity. Some Republican senators said they won't attend the Republican National Convention in Jacksonville next month.

Still, opposition to tighter restrictions aimed at stemming the surge remained stiff.

One Louisiana lawmaker compared the treatment of people who refuse to wear masks to the treatment of Jews during the Holocaust. - unbelievable.

in the UK it's been a total clusterfuck, advice has been given, then changed, we've had the government telling us we must stay home yet government ministers and others have been travelling around the country, so that hasn't helped the situation, if it is lockdown for everyone then it means everyone and that includes celebrities and politicians.
One worrying thing was the recording of deaths, Covid 19 was written as the cause of death on far too many death certificates in my opinion. Yes people may of had the virus, but whether it actually killed them is another matter, I knew of at least one person who had a couple of friends who had terminal cancer and had only weeks to live, when they did die the cause of death was listed as Covid 19! So given the logic in that, suppose a person was lying in a hospital bed terminally ill from cancer and just before they died they complained of a really bad migraine headache, would they record the cause of death as migraine, or as the cancer which actually did kill them?
There's been so many cover ups over this it's quite worrying, my wife works in a hospital, a small local community one, they began to get a lot of Covid cases in, at one point almost all of their beds were filled with covid patients. It only emerged last week at a meeting that they had been designated as a Covid hospital! Nobody saw fit to tell them in the begining that they would actually be deliberately being sent Covid patients.

To suggest the coronavirus death numbers are being overinflated is a misnomer

Every year on average 40-60 thousand people here in America die from Influenza. Most of them are elderly or have underlying medical conditions.
Would you suggest those numbers are also being inflated?

ATTENTION FRIENDS & FAMILY - Before you run out and get yourself "TESTED" for COVID-19 consider a few facts. 1) Modern Science can take a swab from the inside of your cheek and do a COMPLETE DNA MAPPING. 2) If this COVID-19 is so CONTAGIOUS that tiny microscopic particles of Saliva in your MOUTH could spread out in excess of 6 feet and you need to wear a mask to stop the Spread. WHY not Swab the inside of your HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS MOUTH ? 3) When you tilt your head back are you sure that is just a Q-Tip going 6 inches up your nose ? - Is it possible that instead of retreiving a SAMPLE, they could actually be IMPLANTING SOMETHING ? ? ? Again DNA can be done at home through the mail with simple MOUTH SWAB but the HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS COVID-19 in your MASK COVERED MOUTHS can't be tested with a Mouth Swab ? ? Does this sound LOGICAL ?

"The curfew in Serbia appears to have ended before it could even begin.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić suggested Wednesday that the country would "probably" not reinstate a curfew this weekend, less than a day after its announcement led to bloodshed in the capital. The country's health ministry clarified that officials have yet to make a final decision, even as new cases have surged."

Tulsa sees Covid-19 surge in the wake of Trump's June rally

The city of Tulsa is experiencing a surge in coronavirus cases, a little over 2 weeks after President Donald Trump held a campaign rally in an indoor arena there.

Dr. Bruce Dart, Executive Director of the Tulsa Health Department, said in a press conference on Wednesday there are high numbers being reported this week, with nearly 500 new cases in two days
and trends are showing that those numbers will increase..

The Tulsa Health Department reported 266 new cases on Wednesday, bringing the total number in the county to 4,571. There are 17,894 cases in Oklahoma and 452 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University's
tally of cases in the United States.

When asked if the cases in Tulsa are going up due to the rally on June 20, Dart said that there were several large events a little over two weeks ago.

"I guess we just connect the dots," Dart said.

Errr, the range you have in that post confirms they are inflated

If you can't give a specific number than yes, 40,000 could be inflated to 60,000

If they had contact traced even 100 cases back to the Tulsa rally, it would have made big news already

In Trump world inflated numbers are a way of life. In his grandiose mind the inauguration turn out the “largest ever”. Not even close. Common words are,”biggest, best , tremendous, greatest, immense, beautiful, etc”. When put in numbers the distortions are mind bending. Given an excursion into reality, the conclusions by
    Tulsa officials seem right on.

    What's a wild co-incidence?

If they had contact traced even a small number of cases back to the Tulsa rally, it would have been big news already

The current jump in cases doesn't have anything to do with the rally in Tulsa
