my kitty loves to be in the bathroom with me while I go. he stands out side the door and meows liek he's hurt if I don't let him in. he knows when I pick up the toliet paper I'm done and it's time to go. Any reason for this obsession?
Hehehe.. my cat follows me into the bathroom as well.. maybe it's the trickling sound? Or just the fact that she follows me everywhere I go, no matter if it's the toilet or not? Yeah.. kinda strange.. ah well.. gotta love'm
nope. he could care less if I'm anywhere else in the house. he can be asleep and if I go to the bathroom he runs in.

I think it's the water that the cat is interested in. My parents' cat loved to come in and watch the toilet while I pee. When I'd wash my hands, she'd jump onto the counter and try to play with the water coming out of the faucet. That's my theory.
no, he gets excited when he hears someone in the bathroom, but freaks out when he walks in and it's not me. all he does is rub up against my legs. I don't know why he has to be pet while I'm taking a shit and isn't interested once I'm done.
My cat is strangly fascinated with the bathroom as well......the leaky shower and the toilet mostly. Sometimes he just sits in the middle of the bathroom floor and stares into space. If the door is pushed closed on him (not all the way of course) he sticks his paw under the door and pulls it open for him to enter in
A lot of cats like our smell, they'll probably want to smell it just like they'll often sniff at another cat's or another animal's urine or shit. They also like our sweaty clothes, and shoes (my cat wasn't happy when I started to go barefoot -he'd completely bury his head in sweaty shoes right after I took them off! )
