You seem to not fully comprehend what I am pointing out... Which doesn't surprise me at all.

Yes, I get what you mean, it's not a straight line

You had 13,000 active cases May 5th, July 19th now you have 20,000

That number has gone up 7000 in 6 weeks

An extra 1 in 1670 Ohions to put it in perspective....over 6 weeks

Can you get them to change the name of the state to Onio by the way, so we can call you Onions

Melbourne locals rush to buy face masks before new rule comes into place

"Panicked residents in Victoria’s coronavirus hot spots have been rushing to buy face masks before the mandatory rule is enforced.

Premier Daniel Andrews’ announcement that from 11.59pm on Wednesday, those not wearing masks or facial coverings will receive a $200 fine.

As a result, shops in Melbourne and Mitchell Shire have seen an influx of customers this afternoon rushing to buy the soon-to-be essential item."

PM 'does not want second national lockdown'

"Boris Johnson has said he does not want to impose a second national lockdown in the event of another Covid-19 outbreak.

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph , the PM compared the option of a nationwide shutdown to a "nuclear deterrent", adding he does not think the country "will be in that position again"

Thousands attend illegal rave at disused RAF base

Thousands attend illegal rave at RAF Charmy Down near Bath

"Police are trying to disperse crowds from the site of an illegal rave near Bath which attracted more than 3,000 people overnight.

The event, at the former RAF Charmy Down airfield about three miles from the city, began late on Saturday.

People living as far away as Bristol complained they had been kept awake.

Avon and Somerset Police said the organisers were "selfish" for staging the event amid "the ongoing risk to public health".

Coronavirus: Sydney law firm ‘trolled’ after advising Melburnians to defy mask order

"G&B Lawyers, which has offices in Sydney and Wollongong, wrote on Facebook that Victorians in the metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire areas should not wear masks — and if fined $200 they should fight the fines in court.

“Free legal advice to all Victorians,” the firm wrote on Facebook on Sunday afternoon.

Don’t wear a mask. Get a $200 fine then elect to have it determined in Court. Every single one of you 6.359 million Victorians can challenge the fines in Court. The Victorian Government won’t fight you in Court. It is far too expensive for them to do so.”

Furious Aussies rise up against Victoria’s mandatory face mask rules

"Aside from a political stance against a perceived loss of freedom, it’s clear some Victorians think wearing masks won’t stop the spread of COVID-19.

“Like a good citizen, I’ve stayed home. I’m more than willing to wear a mask publicly indoors but I take my kids for a walk/bike to the park once a day for “FRESH AIR” to relieve some anxiety and stress at government shambles, now he takes the air we breathe?” wrote one Victorian on Twitter.

“Mandatory masks is ridiculous! If they don’t specify a standard of mask (a type that might actually work) & say any face covering (most of which even the scientists say are useless) then how is this anything other than political to create fear inspired compliance of other rules,” wrote another."

Remember the old tourist slogan, "It's better in the Bahamas" well it is....lol..

The Bahamas Closes Its Borders to US Travelers

The Bahamas reopened tourism to all on July 1, however, due to the amount of new COVID-19 cases The Bahamas has made the call to close its airports and seaports to passengers coming from the United States.

The change will go into effect starting at midnight on Wednesday, July 22.

In a nationwide address made earlier today, the Bahamian Prime Minister Hubert Minnis stated that the islands’ national carrier, Bahamasair, will be discontinuing all outbound flights to the U.S. immediately, reported the Miami Herald.

Florida Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics sends letter to Gov. DeSantis

A letter was sent to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis asking him to reconsider the order requiring brick and mortar schools to reopen in August.

The letter was sent by the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FCAAP) which represents the 2,600 pediatricians in the state.

The viral infection rates in Florida are “extremely high with a rolling average of 14.2 percent of tests positive for new infections over the past two weeks,” citing the data from the state’s department of health.

The FCAAP says if children go to school with such high infection rates, schools will be forced to close quickly after reopening, and many children and families will likely become ill with coronavirus, also referred to as SARS-CoV-2.

Robinson writes the FCAAP believes that each school district in the state should be given the choice to decide when and how they reopen in-person learning based on COVID-19 impact in the community.

    Lol, here we go

EU leaders reach deal on coronavirus recovery

"EU leaders have struck a deal on a huge post-coronavirus recovery package following a fourth night of talks.

It will see the 27-nation bloc offering €750bn (£677bn; $859bn) in grants and loans to counter the economic impact of the pandemic.

Summit chairman Charles Michel said it was a "pivotal moment" for Europe.

Talks which began on Friday saw a split between nations hardest hit by the outbreak and "frugal" members who were concerned about costs."

Translation: EU members not so affected by the virus wondering why they have to pay
