I'm doing a workshop in this at the weekend. Really looking forward to it, it should be interesting as there are several very unique taoist breathing methods which I'm hoping will be helpful in my meditation and also my tai-chi and chi gung practise.

its been awhile but if i remember corectly there are four or five breathing styles, but you have to be careful to know what you are doing before you try them, because you can do serious damage to your vital organs if you do them wrong. they have to do with the direction your diaphram moves when you inhale and exhale. i do have a good reference in my tai chi book if yall want me to look it up i can, but ive been tryin to empty my head so i havent read in a while, i guess its workin!

It's actually my tai-chi/chi-gung teacher who's holding the class, so I'm sure he'll know what he's doing ;) Just looking forward to saturday now, I find workshops at the weekend to be far more relaxing than a one hour class during the week and I tend to get so much more from them.
