There are currently 57,562 Coronavirus hospitalizations in the U.S. suffering from various degrees of the virus from moderate to severe.

The amount of suffering each patient is going through along with their families and friends is enormous, but in VG’s mind all he cares about is the number of dead.

Some of those patients will be place on a ventilator and 1/3 will not survive. The other 2/3 will likely suffer from permanent damage to their lungs, other internal organs, or in their cognitive abilities.

No matter how you view this virus it's a nightmare.
