I bought meself these today... The Sam the Sham Revue by Sam the Sham & the Pharaohs Turtle Soup by the Turtles Crimson and Clover by Tommy James & the Shondells Fever Tree by Fever Tree I'm too lazy to put pictures...but it was a damn good trip. The cashier was cute too.
I've never heard of it. The Turtles are just too cheesy... That song is kind of annoying. I saw that album for $1, but I didn't get it. Ahh, I just listened that album yesterday! I found it on vinyl about a year ago. I think it's pretty good. A few people have even hailed it as one of the best '60s/psychedelic albums, but I think that's pushing it. Not bad...
...I like them... It is. But the album is much better. I skipped that song, the chorus gets on my nerves. Well, they could be talking about the first side of the album. It's...orgasmic is the only word that comes to mind...But the second side is too...record-executive-y. It sounds like the band's agents wrapped up the album for them. Kind of a downer...
Yeah, I'll agree there. The first side is much better than the second. I really like the first song on the album.
Looks like you're a fan of cheesy music? I like the early years of the turtles, and 'Outside Chanc' 'You Showed Me' are some of my favourite songs. I've never heard of Fever Tree. From what year is that album?
1968. Not great, but I suppose it would be worth downloading simply for the purpose of adding to your collection.
That "Crimson and Clover" song was in some awesome serial-killer movie I watched yesterday. Ahahaha That's kwite more depressing than the macarena.
