We aren't going to solve the crises we have in America by separating ourselves out. We're supposed to be the United States not just the States. It was a joke, sure, and it was a tiny bit humorous, I'll consent to that. But "blue" and "red" people? What is this, 1860? We're all under the same flag, we should act like it. Instead of isolating yourself from "red people" why don't you try to convince them? And don't tell me you've tried because unless you've succeeded in turning these so-called "red people" away from corruption and deceit, you haven't tried hard enough.

Let's not stereotype. And get over the "red state/blue state" horseshit. There are comrades in every state, including in the deep south. There are anarchist groups in the deep south...some of the bravest souls I could ever have the honor of meeting. For some odd reason, to me, there's nothing sexier than a guy with a southern accent talking progressive, or revolutionary idealism.

Actually my best friend at work is a republican conservative. She even voted for Bush. I don't discriminate, other people do, calling me a liberal and tree hugger and all that...which wouldn't be bad names except they say them meanly. I only wrote "blue" and "red" people to save time, that's why I used quotation marks. Personally I don't think anyone is purely any label. Even my friend at work thinks there should be a limit on how much property and money someone should have, and that's not a very conservative view...but that's the point..she's comes up with the thoughts herself, it's just they're mostly conservative. I don't know, I'd just rather move away to a more tolerant place because I don't really believe anything is ever going to change. I've become cynical lol
