Pornogrophy; essential to culture? or just gross.what does it contribute 2 society?

Personally i feel pornogrophy gives us an idea of whats going on in our countrys heads. It reflects our culture. Standard porn is two skinny averagly good looking people having sex right? But if you want to see heavier couples or gay couples for that matter its in the category of fetishes. It shows us just whats acceptable and whats skeptical in todays society. I dont know im just babbling.
so whats your feeling on it?

 

people in porn aren't usually too skinny, from what I've seen they're pretty represenative of how 'normal' people look.

 

I consider myself a bit of a scholar on the subject.

when a man and a woman and another woman and a horse love each other, they try to change societys conventional views on the subject.

I feel pornography is an imperative sociological tool.

 

I've seen plenty of midget and fat porn.. but then again.. I might be looking in the wrong places

ehm.. porn is educational.. it teaches you how to bend stuff and to close your eyes in time because it can reach pretty far..

Theres nothing wrong with porn I'm no zooaphile lol. I like to watch two hot lesbians getting it on but hetrosexual porn is a turn off... I don't like seeing a guy get off. They zoom into his face when he's about to come WTF? Thats the last thing a hetrosexual guy needs to see when he's randy..

What does porn contribute to society? Entertainment The same as a Big Mac or a cold beer... it's not healthy but in controlled doses it's harmless!

 

i think there are much better sources that represent certain contributions to society or reflections of society

Well, if a woman with fake boobs, collagen injections in their lips, too much makeup, botox treatments, and the uncontrollable urge to moan and scream before they're even touched is 'normal', then you're right.

 

Its really good at relieving sexual tension. It should be somebody free right if they want to view it or not, I see nothing wrong with it on ocasion, there are more important things, but the ocasional viewing is fine.:sunglasse

I don't care about the porn industry actually because porn does absolutely nothing for me. Watching ugly strangers have sex really does not turn me on. As my boyfriend and I always say "Why watch porn when you can make your own porn?"

The men are usually pretty average looking though. Quite a few ugly ones though, not enough gorgeous guys to balance that out
