    Two types of love

meaning love - you love the people who mean the most to you. animals feel this sort of love, and will love their family this way, or their herd or flock, or their mate.

feeling love - you love the things that make you feel good. if something feels good, it means the body wants it. this can make a human crave for that feeling when they dont get it, and love of this kind can be similar.

what other sorts of love are there? or do these two basically sum it up? on end extreme is lust, the other is like brothership or kinship.

the love betwee lovers is obviosuly a mix of both. when love is purely based on lust, and a relationship surpasses the level of meaningful love involved, clashes occur because feelings of lust can not always be sustained

or do you think im trying to rationalise something that is too complex? i do believe that it comes down to a few very small factors, if not the 2 i put forth

I don't think love should be put into categories, but your post makes sense.

i think that love is the greatest thing of all because you can apply it your pets, friends, and lovers. love does come in many forms, even more than the ones you mentioned.
i once fell in love with a guy because i saw him hold the door for a girl he didnt know even though his hands were full of books and ended up falling on the floor. the more i saw this guy the more i fell in love with him. and i've loved him for over 3 yrs and he has hair past his shoulders! their is nothing greater than loving a complete stranger and not wishing to date them. i dont know why i added this little tidbit. i guess it kinda proves Aesop right.

    I completely agree.

Just take love for what it is, just like music. No need to catergorize.
