That's right. I have met several people here in Indiana who think like the typical brainwashed Trump supporter.

  2. because hanging is a public affair ! Where the community gathers to share a few vulgarities & and a drink thereafter ! Who says it has any thing to do with race ? Negro or no I'd like to see them go right up the gallows pole. Perhaps they'll wriggle a while

Every healthy young one has a yearning for a good hanging.

I'm willing to assert that you would go to a hanging just of curiosity & so that you say you did...

Just like I'm certain that we'd all lick our own assholes at least one time...

The RNC convention avoided talking about the coronavirus.

All Trump could offer in his acceptance speech is that a vaccine might come sooner than expected.

It's a last-ditch pitch that Trump made to his enthusiasts who were packed at his acceptance speech without face coverings, behaving the same as Herman Cain who died of the coronavirus.

The vaccine didn't arrive soon enough for Cain and 185,000 other Americans..

Some of the morbidity and death could have avoided if Trump and the White House had engaged in proper crisis management and had offered and encouraged pragmatic guidance to the public instead of engaging in selfish ideological posturing to pander to his base.

Trump has used the coronavirus as an excuse for his sordid use of the White House grounds for his election activities instead of venues such as those in NC and FL that were partly scrubbed due the the virus.

    Trump's blueprint for victory
It was a bracing, brazen and at times downright bizarre spectacle. But the president unveiled a strategy this week that could win back the White House.

    Trump's blueprint for victory

    excerpt:

"There are two ways to think about what happened over the last four days. The first is that this event was notable for its clear break with precedent. Cabinet secretaries previously declined to show up and make convention speeches, but Trump’s secretary of State spoke from Jerusalem on Tuesday and his secretary of Housing and Urban Development spoke Thursday night. Also on Tuesday, Trump appeared onscreen from the Blue Room in the White House and issued a pardon to a shocked former bank robber, the way Oprah used to give away cars.

No modern president has ever used the White House for such naked political purposes. For Trump’s finale on Thursday evening, a stage on the South Lawn was bracketed with enormous video screens displaying the official Trump-Pence reelection logos. There was opera sung from a balcony of the White House residence and fireworks on the Mall after Trump finished, framing the Washington Monument in the background."

Trump could have opted for a hog calling event with screeching Kimberly Guilfoyle as a contestant.

Trump was ranting about law-and-order at the convention while blatantly violating the Hatch Act. Apparently, the irony was lost on his blind followers.

Slate magazine characterized his speech at the RNC as "a volcano of lies."

Very accurate assessment. And he's been bragging that his main goal is "................. to protect the American people." OK - then resign.

Rump and THE REPUBLICAN PARTY count on the ignorance and blindness of their base. My beef is with the power-broker REPUBLICANS and the BIG CORPORATIONS that fund all the lies and trampling the Constitution ........................ all while claiming they are trying to adhere to it & protect it. They depend on their base not being smart enough to read & understand the Constitution and all the things it provides for - - as well as prevent ........................ LIKE A ONE-PERSON MONARCHY / DICTATORSHIP.

The U.S. was founded to prevent one-person rule by a leader proclaiming whatever he felt like. Executive orders are typically reserved for VERY serious matters - but Rump has issued executive orders like candy about all sorts of things - including trying to curtail press facts that weren't flattering to him ........................ a CLEAR abuse of power. ( The Constitution guarantees a free press, by the way - for those who think Rump is a "savior of the Constitution" !!! ) No other president has ever attempted to stifle the free press as much as Rump has - even Nixon didn't try to stifle them during the Watergate scandal. Nixon just tried to cover up all his crimes so the press wouldn't find out about them. Nixon .................... another corrupt, REPUBLICAN power hog.

The U.S. was also founded to allow religious freedom ....................... not just Christianity (and I'm a Christian myself). The founders DID NOT say no other religious beliefs were allowed in the U.S. The founders actually set up a government that separated Church and State. That way no one religious belief system could dominate lawmaking in the future. Many U.S. Christians today MISTAKENLY believe that the U.S. is supposed to be a mandated Christian nation. That's NOT what the founders set up. Religious tolerance was their goal. Sorry to reveal the ACTUAL FACTS and burst your misinformed and deceived bubble. And again ................. I am a Christian. If someone wants to worship a tree stump ..................... they're free to do so.

But Rump's faithful flock of puppet LEMMINGS bask in the relentless lies he and the REPUBLICAN PARTY spew with alarming regularity. One of the latest killers was when Kelly-Anne Conway declared that , "......... every woman should have a boss like Donald Trump."

Yep .................. "I just grab 'em by the pussy." "I just go up to them and start kissing them. I don't even wait." "I move on 'em like a bitch." T-H-A-T Donald Trump.

    Are you shittin' me????????????

As Covid-19 pressures mount, political newcomer Stephen Hahn struggles to protect an FDA under siege

Political newcomer Stephen Hahn struggles to protect an FDA under siege

    excerpt:

"Hahn was trying to dampen an outcry from Sunday evening, when, flanked by President Trump during a primetime White House briefing, he alarmed former FDA officials and outside scientific experts by spouting nonsensical statistics about the benefits of blood plasma from recovered Covid-19 patients. At one point, he falsely claimed that the treatment, which the FDA authorized Sunday on an emergency basis, would save the lives of 35 in 100 coronavirus patients. (No available data supports his claim, which also dramatically inflates Covid-19 mortality.)

According to interviews with current and former agency officials, the challenge has been especially complicated because more than any recent commissioner, Hahn has surrounded himself with an insular cadre of advisers, none of whom has significant experience in FDA leadership. A slew of high-level FDA experts have also departed the agency since its former commissioner, Scott Gottlieb, left in early 2019.

Hahn, moreover, doesn’t have relationships with the small group of former FDA commissioners who often support one another with policy and other advice: The three most recent FDA commissioners told STAT that they have had only passing conversations with Hahn since he was confirmed.

Hahn’s verbal blunder on Sunday, and the contrast between his enthusiasm and the FDA’s markedly cautious press releases, have raised questions about Hahn’s ability to navigate the agency through the president’s impulses — and whether Hahn’s supporting cast at FDA is capable of guiding him."

Trump spent 15 minutes at one of his rallies defending his slow walk down a stage ramp. At another rally he spent time trying to prove that he can actually lift up a glass of water and drink it.

Someone in that state of mind can't be expected to understand much of anything about viruses. His remarks about UV and one that implied ingestion of Lysol support it.
