    Incorrect

Median life expectancy once people enter nursing homes is 6 months

You had about 40% of those 200,000 deaths occur in nursing homes, so yes, half those 40%: 40,000 of those 200,000 would have been dead anyway 6 months later

Add the near 6,000 deaths that were international and unintentional accidents; which includes suicides

Add the never to be determined amount of heart attacks, sepsis, cpd deaths that also would have occurs in a 6 month time frame with another infection

...and yes, more like only 60-70% of those 200,000 would be still alive now if they had never gotten Covid

No one is going to buy 98/99%

6000 intentional and unintentional accidents alone count for 3%

No one is going to buy someone who committed suicide whilst infected with the virus, died of the virus; even though they are counted in that 200,000 Absolutely Ridiculous

Then on top of that, why the friggin secrecy, they get that data instantly if electronic, in a week if on paper. Why did it take till August to get this information

Twitter account suspended of Chinese virologist who claimed COVID was lab-made

Chinese virologist Dr Li-Meng Yan, last week, accused China of not taking proper precautions to contain the spread of coronavirus, and offered scientific proof that COVID-19 is lab-made in Wuhan.

Dr. Yan had, in an interview with a talk show, revealed that she had to flee to the US for her safety after being threatened by the Chinese officials when she wanted to alert the world about the pandemic.
She had also alleged the Chinese authorities of employing people to spread rumours about her and deleting all her information.

She claimed that while she was in Wuhan to investigate Pneumonia outbreak, she stumbled upon information about coronavirus. She tried to alert the authorities but got no response from the WHO.
She also accused the Chinese authorities of ignoring her warnings and letting the world suffer through the pandemic, when it could have been avoided.

"This virus is not from nature," she stressed. “The genome sequence is like a human finger print. So based on this you can identify these things. I use the evidence … to tell people why this has come from the lab in China,
why they are the only ones who made it.”

Less than a week later, her Twitter account has been suspended by the social media giant claiming the account violated the "Twitter rules".

I don't know if I believe any of that, I mean it would make a great movie and speaking of movies, even in the movies the secret conspiracy police would have intercepted a woman who could blow the whole secret covid mission to the world before she made the airplane to another country.

    C'mon man!

I agree but I still wonder what dark forces are backing her to come forward the way she did.

Oh I agree it's lab made, I just don't believe the story :p people don't let other people announce that. People wind up dead loooong before that.

It was 21,000 deaths over 3 months in NY when their population was 5.6 million in that second wave

"New York City emerged from the three waves of the influenza pandemic (September 1918 to February 1919) officially recording approximately 30,000 deaths out of a population of roughly 5.6 million due to influenza or pneumonia, 21,000 of them during the second fall wave (September 14 to November 16).3,4"

The 1918 Influenza Epidemic in New York City: A Review of the Public Health Response

Which was an average of 233 deaths a day in NYC

Population now is 9 million for NYC, another 11 million for the rest of the state

And they had 21,000 covid deaths between April 1st and May 5th 2020, 5 weeks

My point: Even when you account for differences in population, that first wave of covid in NY was just as bad as that 2nd wave of the Spanish flu in 1918 for April 2020 at least

With low body counts and decreasing risk of infection, I think one thing remains as the stark reality for me. This isn't going anywhere.

    I want a vaccine.

Earlier today it dawned on me how easy I have it with the situation brought about by coronavirus. I was minding my own business doing the things I always do and I thought "It would be nice to go buy some Crystal Method at the record shop".

A little background on that... I used to go to the record shop a lot. I went several times a week sometimes for years, and not just here. No. I would drive to LA to go to their record store, and the gas wasn't cheap then.

But the point is that in my mind going to the record store right now is totally illogical and unnecessary. Mp3 is cheaper, and cooler imo, and the risk of getting sick greater where there are lots of consumers. And while I realize that, I missed going! I wanted to go and I couldn't, and I think that's what's going on with lots of people. They want to do some things, and they don't understand... :( Or maybe they're finally beginning to understand, but it isn't easy.

and it takes discipline; it really does. I wear lots of protective stuff and just go to Starbucks a whole lot. They have nice protocols lots of places too. But I can't really get enthusiastic about going out to eat and wonder how the restaurants are getting on without me. :D I'm sure it's fine...

When are people going to realize that the ONLY figure that matters is the TOTAL number of deaths for the YEAR in a country.

A virus, followed by bacterial infection, then either turning to pneumonia, then septicemia. OR renal leading to multi-organ shutdown, is how 95% of ALL human life ends during its last 72 hours. With cancer sufferers, the figure is almost 100%

In the UK, 750 deaths every day are linked to cancer. TODAY WE ARE NAMING THAT FINAL VIRUS and putting it on the records. The whole situation is developing into an utter chaotic mess.
If we continue to name the final viruses and bacteria at the moment of death on the records. NO ONE will ever die from cancer again.

What everyone seems to be failing to grasp is that treatment for viral infections has extended human life by an average of 15 years over recent decades.
Therefore overwhelming the health services at the peak of a virus WILL allow people who could recover to die.
IN A NUTSHELL, IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT.

    SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
It is well known that parts of the UK are famous for people living to an age above the national average.
These tend to be where virus and bacteria counts are below average. I personally believe that ozone levels play a part.

If we continue with social distancing and allowing people to work from home in the cities, will the average life expectancy of the nation increase.???????
Cutting air pollution, by reduced travel could also become a factor in this situation.
