McConnell wants that because he want's a virtual confirmation process on Barrett. Senator Tim Kain just told him it has to be live. Klobuchar has said it should be delayed, because of all the infected Republicans.
One important agenda which Trump has rolled with is the public lands give away program. Some of our public land has gone to mining and forest product companies for nothing. Some of the lands which were controlled by the agriculture department were actually sold off for less per acre than the price of a can of peanuts. Just think what you could do if Trump allowed you to go and buy a few hundred acres for say $3 per acre? You could live off grid, raise a good size organic garden, let your dogs run as free as they wish, ride a horse, and have a bon fire with your entire family. It would be an American dream. But Trump and his pals have been giving these public lands for peanuts. In Alaska, Trump has been giving away millions of acres to timber companies for less than peanuts. Some of these areas are so remote no one has even walked through them. The entire deal shows us that Trump cares about businessmen, cares about corporations, but does not give a hoot about us common Americans.
On Sunday Conley acknowledged that Trump was given steroids, which can reduce inflammation in the lungs and other organs. Conley also admitted that Trump was given supplemental oxygen. He tap danced around the question multiple times on Saturday. Mark Meadows said that Trump's oxygen level had dropped quickly on Friday. It's a reason why he was airlifted to Walter Reed. Trump update spurs more questions than answers, again - CNNPolitics excerpt: ""On Saturday, the President's oxygen level dropped again "to about 93%," Conley said. "We watched it and it returned back up." But the incident led doctors to start treating Trump with the steroid drug dexamethasone, which has been shown to help patients with Covid-19. It is typically given to patients on supplemental oxygen or ventilation. Conley said the President's current blood oxygen level is 98%. But Conley refused to say how low the President's blood oxygen levels had dropped during that first alarming episode at the White House. When asked if the President's blood oxygen level had dropped below 90, he replied, "We don't have any recordings here of that." Pressed again on whether the level had dropped below 90, Conley said the President's blood oxygen levels didn't get down into "the low 80s." He offered no detail about what X-rays or CT scans have shown about whether there has been any damage to the President's lungs."
Trump update spurs more questions than answers, again - CNNPolitics excerpt: "Trump's alternate reality For much of this year, Trump has spun an alternate reality about the dangers of coronavirus — disputing science and the efficacy of masks, downplaying the risks to the American people, and making false statements about how 99% of coronavirus cases in America are "totally harmless" or that the virus "affects virtually nobody." He encouraged his aides and advisers to live in that dangerous fantasy land, pushing his luck to the limits as late as this past week when he again recklessly gathered thousands of unmasked Americans at his political rallies and packed the top officials in government into a Rose Garden ceremony for his Supreme Court nominee. All the while, White House officials embraced the fallacy that administering rapid coronavirus tests frequently at the White House could provide a shield of immunity. The President's construct crumbled Friday when he was airlifted to Walter Reed after contracting the virus, while many aides, advisers and allies were testing positive for Covid-19 after interacting with him over the past week."
Just saw him being driven around the hospital for his political pleasure. Can't anyone control this pile of dung?
Trump rides around hospital to greet supporters. Trump leaves hospital room to wave at supporters outside from motorcade excerpt: ""President Trump took a short, last-minute motorcade ride to wave to his supporters outside and has now returned to the Presidential Suite inside Walter Reed," deputy White House press secretary Judd Deere said in a statement. Patients who test positive for COVID-19 are typically required to quarantine for 14 days, which is the incubation period for the virus, to avoid infecting others. Trump first publicized his positive test early Friday morning, and he has been symptomatic since then, meaning he is likely still contagious. "Why is a sick President riding in an SUV waving to supporters outside Walter Reed, jeopardizing the Secret Service agents inside the car with him?" presidential historian Michael Beschloss tweeted."
Up next: Pro-Trump and anti-Trump demonstrators gather outside Walter Reed hospital. Fights break out. People are shot. Trump deploys the National Guard.
Once considered safe territory for Graham and Trump, South Carolina has become a toss-up. Lindsey Graham hammered by Democrat opponent who tells him to ‘be a man’ and likens him to a cheating child in election debate excerpts: "Senator Graham is tied with Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison at 48 per cent each, according to the latest Quinnipiac University poll, in a race that has become unexpectedly competitive and could play a role in flipping control of the Senate. Mr Harrison has seen a surge in donations since the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the incumbent Graham’s u-turn on his previous pledge to not fill a Supreme Court vacancy in an election year. Reportedly $9m was donated to the Democrat in the three days following Justice Ginsburg’s death." "The same Quinnipiac poll that had the Senate candidates tied put president Trump just one point ahead of Joe Biden at 48 per cent to 47 per cent."
