Some of the general public thought Trump being the head of his private family business would make him qualified to be a great president. Taking Page From Authoritarians, Trump Turns Power of State Against Political Rivals David E. Sanger, The New York Times October 11, 2020 Taking Page From Authoritarians, Trump Turns Power of State Against Political Rivals excerpts: "Trump’s vision of the presidency has always leaned to exercising the absolute powers of the chief executive, a writ-large version of the family business he presided over. “I have an Article II,” he told young adults last year at a Turning Point USA summit, referring to the section of the Constitution that deals with the president’s powers, “where I have the right to do whatever I want as president, but I don’t even talk about that.”" "“I have worked for nine secretaries of state,” Burns said. “I cannot imagine any of them intervening in an election as blatantly as what we are seeing now. Our tradition is that secretaries of state stay out of elections. If they wanted to release Hillary Clinton’s emails, they could have done it in 2017, 2018 or 2019. It is an abuse of power by Donald Trump and Mike Pompeo.”"
There is a lot to take in from this thread! My answer was to vote for Biden yesterday. Feel free to follow in my footsteps.
Trump seems to be trying to put distance between his coronavirus illness and returning to WI for rallies. He was scheduled to visit two virus hot spot locations in WI the day before he was taken to the hospital. His campaign events have resumed at the White House and Florida instead of WI. Many in the public have mistakenly heralded Trump as a long time CEO and a great one, as if his companies have been public. Most of Trump's businesses have been private. He hasn't had to answer to a board of directors or shareholders. An exception was one of his casino businesses which was public and ended in bankruptcy. He wasn't a great CEO for even the limited time he ever had to be one. . He has projected his mindset of complete control over his private family businesses onto national politics. It's evident in his inability to work with Congress and other groups to resolve problems. Instead, he has relied on coercion tactics, loopholes, declaration of frivolous national emergencies, and sections of obscure Congressional acts to try to obtain what he wants. Trump and the conservative media outlets have been confusing the coronavirus with the flu virus. In March, Fox did an interview with a woman in her 60's who contracted the coronavirus. She was fortunate that her symptoms were mild. Fox irresponsibly generalized her case to the entire public and dismissed the virus only to later eat its words when the virus struck in earnest in the U.S. in April. Similarities and Differences between Flu and COVID-19 excerpt: "Influenza (Flu) and COVID-19 are both contagious respiratory illnesses, but they are caused by different viruses. COVID-19 is caused by infection with a new coronavirus (called SARS-CoV-2) and flu is caused by infection with influenza viruses. There are some key differences between flu and COVID-19. COVID-19 seems to spread more easily than flu and causes more serious illnesses in some people. It can also take longer before people show symptoms and people can be contagious for longer. Another important difference is there is a vaccine to protect against flu. There is currently no vaccine to prevent COVID-19. The best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to the virus. More information about differences between flu and COVID-19 is available in the different sections below." "Vaccine Similarities: Vaccines for COVID-19 and flu must be approved or authorized for emergency use (EUA) by the FDA. Differences: Flu There are multiple FDA-licensed influenza vaccines produced annually to protect against the 3 or 4 flu viruses that scientists anticipate will circulate each year. COVID-19 Currently there is no vaccine to prevent COVID-19. Vaccine developers and other researchers and manufacturers are expediting the development of a vaccine to prevent COVID-19."

Trump's wall didn't and won't prevent the spread of the coronavirus. A wall the length of the U.S.-Mexico border wouldn't stop it. The remedy for the foreseeable future is social distancing. Trump's berating of it caused his own infection and made the White House a hot spot and spreader. Trump remark at a campaign rally in Charleston, S.C. on Feb. 28, 2020: “We’ll have 500 miles built by very early next year, some time, so, one of the reasons the numbers are so good. We will do everything in our power to keep the infection and those carrying the infection from entering our country. We have no choice. Whether it’s the virus that we’re talking about or many other public health threats. The Democrat policy of open borders is a direct threat to the health and well-being of all Americans. Now you see it with the coronavirus, you see it.”
U.S. coronavirus death toll exceeds 220,000. If the trend continues, the death toll will be approaching a quarter-million Americans at the Nov. 3 election date, a grim number but appropriate for Trump. I wonder how many innocent kids have been killed because Mr. I know my rights voter didn't wear a mask when he picked up eggs. It's a big problem in the rural area my sister teaches in. Half the kids don't come to school because they are sick and the other half cheat the temperature tests. Parents have shared with each other that running the car's AC will trick the system if their kid is measured within seconds of leaving the car as they often are. No one is wearing a mask. It's the same as it ever was. They make a big show of pretending to care for all life but they don't care at all about anyone but their own family. They will argue this is normal. So no abortion but also no social welfare for the poor mother who had a kid she did not want. That is her problem just like masks are her own bad choice. If she is so worried don't get eggs and keep your legs shut. Orange man good. He can survive it so we all can.

As depicted in the Youtube joyride cartoon of Trump riding in his limo with the coronavirus sitting next to him, Trump is someone who could make the coronavirus sick.
Committing fraud to prove fraud. I guess we are supposed to believe the Democrats are doing the same thing? How the fraud occurs has never been explained by Republicans. California Republicans Have Installed Fake Ballot Boxes at Churches, Gyms, and Gun Stores California Republicans are allegedly trying to prove that voter fraud is real by committing actual election fraud. Metal containers marked “Official ballot drop-off box” have been popping up in gyms, gun stores, campaign headquarters, and even churches across California in recent weeks, with Republicans urging voters to drop their ballots inside. But these boxes are not official ballot drop boxes, and the Republicans who have been actively promoting them in recent weeks could face criminal charges
That does prove it, though... Could be the stupidest way to prove there is voter fraud, but it is a way. Kinda like proving there are automobile accidents by driving into a tree at 60mph.
The CAGOP is defiant and saying it won't remove the boxes. California GOP Says It Owns Unofficial Ballot Drop Boxes excerpt: "On Monday, state GOP spokesman Hector Barajas said that the party owns the boxes and has no plans to remove them. He would not say how many exist or where they are located. Barajas said the state’s law governing so-called ballot harvesting allows an organization to collect and return groups of ballots and that collection boxes provided by a private organization to help people vote are no different. “Democrats only seem to object to ballot harvesting when someone else does it,” Barajas said. The controversy surfaced after state election officials received reports of the boxes in Fresno, Los Angeles and Orange counties, all regions with highly competitive U.S. House races. Democrats have blasted the use of the unofficial boxes and say they fear Republicans could use them to gather and dispose of ballots."
The CA GOP is upset about a CA law that permits a designated person to collect ballots. CA GOP Sets Up Unofficial Absentee Ballot Drop Boxes, Secretary of State Calls It Illegal. excerpt: "Still, there is a key difference between how that 2016 law works and how the California GOP is using it. Specifically, Padilla said these drop boxes are illegal because that law requires a voter to designate a person to return their ballot; however, no one is present at these drop boxes. On top of that, Padilla said the unofficial drop boxes don’t meet security requirements. Now, Padilla’s office has said that it will be sending updated guidance to both Democrats and Republicans, warning them that they could face criminal charges if they use unsanctioned drop boxes."
Trump is still demanding the DOJ arrest his political competitors. He's also insinuating that he deserves a 3rd four-year term because Obama supposedly spied on him and tried to destroy his first term. He stated at a rally that he will 'negotiate' for a third term. ‘Where are all of the arrests?’: Trump demands Barr lock up his foes The day-long run of tweets and retweets marked the most frantic stretch of Trump’s public activity since he left Walter Reed. By KYLE CHENEY 10/07/2020 04:00 PM EDT ‘Where are all of the arrests?’: Trump demands Barr lock up his foes excerpt: “NOW THAT THE RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRATS GOT COUGHT [sic] COLD IN THE (NON) FRIENDLY TRANSFER OF GOVERNMENT, IN FACT, THEY SPIED ON MY CAMPAIGN AND WENT FOR A COUP, WE ARE ENTITLED TO ASK THE VOTERS FOR FOUR MORE YEARS,” Trump declared late Wednesday morning. “PLEASE REMEMBER THIS WHEN YOU VOTE!”
In addition to the Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley, the Trump campaign also didn't seek approval from Dr Fauci to use his words and image in another ad in which he appears to be praising the President (but his words were taken out of context) Top general did not give his consent to be used in Trump political ad President Donald Trump's campaign is running an online political ad that uses an image of his vice president, his Pentagon chief and his most senior military adviser watching the raid on ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi from the Situation Room on Oct. 29, 2019. The military has strict rules against uniformed service members participating in political campaigns, and the ad is just the latest example of the president or those around him pulling the nation's highest-ranking officer and other Defense Department officials into the political realm. "As a matter of long-standing policy, military service members and federal employees acting in their official capacity may not engage in activities that associate the DOD with any partisan political campaign or elections, candidate, cause or issue," the DOD's website states in a post from March 2019.
