Just wanted to know how many of my fellow humans have experienced The Pink Floyd Live? In person, been able to light up right in front of them?

I'm only 19 and the only chance I get to see Pink Floyd live is when I pop in my 'Live in Pompei' DVD. I've heard rumours of a reunion, so I patiently wait for their return to the stage.

I've seen em 4 times. My parents took me to the Delicate Sound of Thunder Tour in Raleigh when I was in 5th grade... we got soaked but it was a great concert, especially since I didn't know ahead of time what to expect. The bed that came crashing into the stage during On The Run took me completely by surprise... I've very vivid memories of that show :)

I saw them again in Raleigh for The Division Bell, but we had crappy seats way up high and off to the side, so that one wasn't as much fun. However, completely made up for that one by driving up to DC with a friend, camping out for three days and getting front row seats for one of the shows. Gilmour was about 25 feet from us, it was awesome. We got orchestra section seats for the second show, which was actually a better experience, although that might have some of the things we took... ;) best part of that night was during comfortbly numb when the disco ball rose up and started spinning; the whole stadium looked like it was spinning... my friend got dizzy and threw up, lol

If you ever get to see them, and are close to the stage, bring sunglasses, cos those lights that flip over will temporarily blind you.

I was lucky enough to see Floyd in '94 I guess it was the Division Bell tour. My Uncle took me, I was like 14 or 15, God bless his soul. Yeah, I saw Roger Waters a few years ago too. Old Floyd is the best I think. Meddle, Umma Gumma, the Syd years, now those would have been some shows to see.

I saw them in '94 as well. It was a cool experience I suppose, but I would have preferred to have seen them in '70 or '71... Where's a time machine when you need one?

Hard to believe its been 11 yrs since I last saw PF.
Also for me it was division bell, in atlanta. I had quite a pleasant experience at that show, with seats in the single digits in row, accompanying us to the show were a pair of playboy models, and a couple local notables. We were close to the stage, and enjoyed the views. The pigs were large, and the strobe quite effective!
Was an enlightening experience for all, although the Floyd blimp wasnt a part of the show, I later saw it as it passed thru from some florida show north.

    I say this every year..........

every hope for a reunion you people have is just wishful thinking. if you have heard rumours of a reunion, its more close to fiction than reality. Ive heard the same rumour for almost 10 years now. and it hasnt happened yet. always around the same time each year someone says "blah blah, I heard that pink floyd is going to reunite, and tour". NOT GOIN to happen. when that happens, pigs will indeed fly, my friends. Roger Waters will tour yes, as a solo act. and he has planned on touring the states this summer. as for the rest of the band, dont count on it.
