I agree with him wholeheartedly when he says Trump should be on trial for every single one of the (so far) 220,000 deaths, and get the death penalty for every one. He also calls Trumpists "trailer park trash", which is an insult to garbage.

1. Character. He's a decent, empathetic person. Refreshing change from the incumbent.
2. He values national unity and is willing to work across party lines. Big contrast from the incumbent.
3. He's a moderate who values the institutions and processes of our government over results. Major advantage over incumbent.

The meaning of terms like "moderate" have changed over the years as the Republicans have continued their non-stop move rightward. Who else remembers when Republicans actually had liberals among them? Many Republicans were to the left of many Democrats, especially in the South. Lowell Weicker (R) from Connecticut is a perfect example. When he was defeated by fucking Joseph Lieberman (D), it was a sad day for all progressives. Biden is totally a moderate/centrist. Anyone calling him a socialist or a communist is an idiot who takes their cues from the Number One idiot in the entire world, Donald Trump. John McCain is so missed, but he wasn't any kind of liberal, he was a rarity today, a moderate/centrist Republican.

 

Dax, I forgot to add that you left off one thing that trump has done, killed 220,000 people.

And Biden never snatched infants from their mothers and lost track of how to get them back together again.

As for moderate, that, too, is a relative concept. In today's political spectrum, with Trump and the Proud Boys on the Right and Bernie and AOC on the left, Biden is a moderate, in the Aristotelian sense.
