Trump GOP attempt to stifle vote count in Clark County, Nevada failed. Clark County is predominantly Democratic. Nevada Supreme Court denies GOP request to stop counting of some mail ballots in Clark County By Emma Brown and Ryan Slattery November 3, 2020 at 9:25 PM EST https://www.washingtonpost.com/elections/2020/11/03/trump-biden-election-live-updates/ excerpt: "The seven justices of the Nevada Supreme Court unanimously have denied a request from the Nevada Republican Party and the Trump campaign to halt the counting of some mail ballots in Democratic-leaning Clark County. The decision came in response to an emergency motion that the campaign and party filed earlier Tuesday, asking the state’s high court to stop the counting of some ballots pending an appeal of a lower-court decision that found the county’s procedures lawful. The justices said that the campaign and the party had failed to demonstrate that their appeal was likely to succeed, and thus it would not be appropriate to halt vote-counting."
Synopsis of the Trump administration. The Choice Between Biden’s America and Trump’s excerpt: "There had once been a thought that the gravity of the job might transform Mr. Trump, that America’s guardrails would check him, that the “adults in the room” (as they often liked to call themselves) would head off his most reckless impulses. Little of it took. He is who he has been. The institutions often bent to him, aided by Republicans in Congress. Advisers and aides came and went, and often never much disagreed with him anyway. And in the run-up to Tuesday, Mr. Trump left little doubt that a second term would look like very much like the first: chaotic, retaliatory, uninterested in unity. Even in the shared suffering endemic to this year of virus and relative isolation, Mr. Trump presided over partisan clashes concerning once apolitical subjects like adherence to public health guidelines, fostering divisions that trickled down to the national rank and file."
The Democrats will keep the House, and there’s still a chance to take the senate. But it’s not looking too good at the moment for Biden, but he still has a path to victory. There have been a few moments during this campaign that had me worried, one of those moments was when a Trump supporter lost an aunt to COVID-19 and yet said she’d still be voting for Trump.
Yeah it looks like we’re going to take the popular vote once again only to lose in the general election............ Doesn't it figure.............. NBC News Exit Poll: White voters who didn't graduate college boost Trump in Ohio President Trump won the state of Ohio largely with the support of white voters who did not graduate college, who make up about half of the electorate in the state.
The current electoral map as vote counting ensues (bottom part of image) looks very similar to the final result of the 2020 election. The election is hinging on the electoral significant swing states of WI, MI, PA, and FL, which is what polls were predicting and where the two candidates spent most of the money and campaign visits.
Because of the outstanding vote count and where they are coming from in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, the Biden campaign still feels confident they'll win. We’ll know after the large vote dumps from the metro-areas and suburbs of Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and Detroit.
Biden says he's 'optimistic' he will win presidential race excerpt: "Biden’s chances of winning the presidency now hinge on states like Arizona, as well as three northern states, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, though counting could take days to complete. Biden expressed confidence in his chances in Georgia on Wednesday morning, saying that he’s “still in the game” there. Turning the tides in Georgia, however, will hinge on late-breaking counts in heavily Democratic areas, and it’s unclear whether that will be enough to allow Biden to overtake Trump."
It all looks worrying to me, I know very little of Biden, but from what I have seen of Trump I can't imagine him being voted back in, the man is a selfish idiot who cares only about a few select people, a bit like the idiot Johnson here in the UK.
For the current vote count, Biden could still win without PA if he wins AZ, NV, MI, an WI plus one more electoral vote (which he could obtain from a district in ME).
