To be alive, able to breath, enjoy our surroundings, but is it for not? Have we over populated as they say by 2010 and we will we collapse such as the Romans or the Incas ? I Hope Not K
in most of nothern europe population is on the decline... the rest of the world is gradually following our lead and birthrates worldwide are decresing. On a less positive note disease is claiming many people - especially in the third world, but all these factors combined suggest overpopulation is not the issue it used to be. What is an issue is equality, as people in the developing world start to get the aminities we are used to (personal phones, tv's, computers, cars etc.) the global use of resorces is rising, in order for them to have the same "standard of life" as us in the west (and Japan we will either have to rapidly increse development of enviromentally freindly technology or significantly reduce out use of resorces (and force other peoples to do likewise - a very shaky point).
