Has anyone ever wondered aout what aliens look like? What if all the aliens out there look exactly the same as humans, whats to say that this is the natural path for a world to evolve along.
what makes me mad is how people think that for other life forms to exist they have to be Carbon based, and have to have oxygen and water. What if they are designed to be like, silicon based, and need shitloads of Nitrogen or something. And yes I have wondered, like what if there are cool talking plant aliens.
There'd probably have to be some practical similarities; our opposing thumbs enable us to use tools better than any creature that doesn't have them. But then again, perhaps on some planet they've found a way around that...
I dunno. Even here on earth there is great diversity in how creatures look. On an entirely different planet, with more or less gravity, more or less water, a different star (with different light conditions, perhaps), faster or slower planet rotation (day/night) and revolution (year), the aliens are likely to be quite different from us.
This is my opinion, I Believe life does need water, I think for life to exist, the ET planet, needs to be the same distance from its star, as our planet is from our star. And then can form complex weather systems, which gives the ET planets clouds and which rains H2O. Then from that with out any global catastrophes, I belive evolution follows the same pattern, so there could be planets out there that just have Dinosaurs roaming around striving and surviving. There could be a planet that is just pure water, and has formed some of the craziest looking water animals that we cant even imagine. There could be planets of just pure mammals, or just insects, or a scarier thought a planet full of Spiders. Giant Spiders, oh man that creeps me out. The strong will survive.
Why would they have to be exact the same, what if they were made to be under different enviroments, the reason we have these things is because they are the most abundant. Maybe its that way with them. Because look at us then look at deep sea animals, they require the same basic things, but because this is Earth, but they are very different, and if they come to the surface they die, and if we go down there we die.
i have 2 theories of what aliens look like. this is the first one: the fuzzy thing is its thinky part. this is the second one:
what if where other life comes from isnt frequency based, or not even a planet at all, maybe like an audi sign or maybe a disc, and if it were not made of energy what would it be, something else hey. like a sledge hammer. a matter without particles. nothing we know exists without energy, everything is made of energy. what about the aliens...
i never beileved in aliens before yesterday, i'm serious!! the night before last i had this dream that i was walking to work near the mall and i was looking in the sky and saw a bald eagle, so i was watching it coz we don't get much bald egales in the area i live, and then i see this dot not moving, staying stationary, not making noise, high up turning silver and red and i kept on watching it and then it just dissapeard, then i woke up, thot nothing of it at all.. so yesterday afternoon i was walking to work near the mall and i swear, this is true, i see a bald eagle!! so of course i'm watching it, and i see the same tiny red/silver dot just hanging in the sky, no noise, nothin!! then it starts sorta spinnin, then dissapers.. i hope i'm not seeing things from all the pot i smoke.. really really weird!!
Like why do u believe that the conditions must be the same for life to exist else where. What if life was made there to survive in different conditions, like be floating aliens with helium sacs, that swim around in the sky, that breathe in pure helium, and have to have a lot of Nitrogen to survive(that was random) It doesnt have to be exactly the same, life could just be there.
yeah but if all life wasn't necessarily carbon based then doesn't that mean life could evolve anywhere. Doesn't that mean the entire universe should be swarming with 'aliens', including our own solar system. I know mars has probably hosted life before, but even mars was probably m-class, meaning it's inhabitants would be carbon based. (all of this is what I can remember reading, but I don't have a very good memory, so prove me wrong)
i think ive seen aliens, back in the day when i where a lad , when i didnt drink n smoke, it was in a forest about 2 in the morning, there was a turkey farm next to the forest and there was a line of human figures but they looked like they where made out of fire or something burning really bright. an there was a purple an green lights in the sky an we all started running away then when the light shone over us we all fell at the same time. i know its sounds stupid but unless we where all spiked drugs and where all tripping the same thing ,im conviced it was true. but my memories are startin to fade and im beggining to doubt what i saw but im hanging on to my feeling of dissbelive that i felt at the time.gues ill never know
After reading an article called "Have we 'evolved to eat mush'?" It was saying how our early ancestors would have had a diet consisting of raw food, have a huge jaw and big teeth, was a must since we needed to tear and rip into our food. Then we were introduced to fire, and with fire came cooked food. Making meat softer and easier to chew, and bite into. And now obviously we've come to the point where we walk over to the grocery store, or drive-thru and get food prepared and ready to eat. So, our mouths have got smaller and our teeth have reached a point where they are basically useless. Our mouths and teeth are the place on our body that has the most surgery performed on it. We dont even get our wisdom teeth anymore (some of us). So, my point being we've evolved and we have smaller mouths, eating more meat, bigger brains and then I figured what is the most common picture humans always give as what they saw as alien creatures! LARGE BRAINS SMALLER MOUTHS because they have evolved to the point where they might not even consume hard foods. They might not even need teeth! which makes me wonder that we might be heading in the milleniums to come to look more and more like the picture above. LoL just some food for thought.
I'm thinking silicon based, the only problem is silicon based creatures would either be 1. cold as ice 2. dumb as hell 3. huge because silicon has nasty overheating problems as we have seen in computers they would need an intricate cooling system otherwise they would melt their own brains for thought.
