A good friend of mine had never smoked weed before, and I took the liberty of smoking him out last night. We smoked about three bowls between the two of us. I was ripped, but he, on the other hand, claimed to have felt nothing. He looked like he was inhaling correctly. I even gave him a step-by-step. He said he felt something at first but it quickly went away. Is this right? I was almost positive he was inhaling correctly. Could he have just not recognized the state of being high? I don't know. I'm confused and disappointed. Any thoughts would be appreciated. -Tokin
Tokin2Creedence it took me until my 3 or 4th time of smoking to get high. Same with some of my friends.
yea hes prolly not doing it right even if it looks like he is....and he didnt feel high at all like all night? some people have a dely when smokeing
it took my friend a blunt and 3 bowls to actually feel anything one time. cause it was like her 2nd time smoking.
I have heard it a thousand times, but i still dont see how people cant get stoned their first time smoking. I remember the first time i did, i took only 3 hits, and i really felt it.
A friend of mine says he never really gets high, he has smoked alot with us and says he just never gets high. I got BLAZED my first time I smoked, fucking white widow.
It took me about 4 times to get high as well. The first couple times I had no idea what I was doing though.
a friend of mine, the first time we smoked him out he had like a joint and didnt feel anythign and then eventually we got back to my pace and had bongs and he got high inn the end.. very high. next time.. he only smoked a bit.. but half an hour later he was stoned and taking pictures of everything with his digital camera
man the first time i smoked i was high... just giggly cuz i only smoked a roach. The second time i smoked i was trashed we smoked at least a dime.
first time i got high...hmmmm....4 of us in a big parking garage for an apartment complex in Seoul, South Korea. Someone had made a foiley and we smoked a gram between the 4 of us. I was the only noob there and i had bene smoking cigs for about 3 months and so they told me jsut to hit it like a cig, drag big then sharp inhale. i got super high and iwas runnin around that parking garage waving three lit cigerettes talking about how they sow on the name brand labels of fake clothes.
first time i got high i was in a friends garage and it was about 6 of us and we passed around maybe 2 bowls and a blunt. that was about maybe the 2nd or 3rd time that had tried it.
hm yeah me too, i had previously taken like a few drags of spliffs that ppl offered me but not nearly enough to get high anyway. but the first time me an my mates delibretly went out an bought weed, we were all high and it was pretty much the first time for all of us. but we were doin lots of gravity bongs which fuck u up!
i bet he wasn't inhaling right...even if it seemed like he was...i bet most people don't inhale correctly the first time they blaze...including myself. i didn't know what the hell i was doing.
It's certainly possible for newbies to inhale just fine with proper instruction. I'm pretty sure I did it alright my first time, and I had never smoked anything in my life. In my opinion, it's much more likely that he DID inhale right, but since it was his first time, it barely affected him. That's just how it is for the majority of people; takes a few tries before it really hits ya.
the thc that gets you high needs to cling to the surface of the braincells that are sensitive to that thc. the clinging is done by things called "receptors". if you've not been getting high these cells have just enough receptors to receive the body's own natural thc. if you suddenly flood the body with extra thc, it has no place to cling to. and so you don't feel much of an extra effect. but the body does react to the flood of extra, builds extra receptors and is able to take on more thc. and the excess that second time again stimulates the building of more receptors and the third time when you get high even more of the stuff sticks and you begin to really notice it. so if you get really good at building up massive amounts of receptors on all of you deeper brain structures where these type cells mostly are located (scientific articles give details) then you can really begin to experience "masterful highs".b1
