A few questions primarily for men, but women are very welcome too!

This is for guys who have a short foreskin (i.e. not circumcised and not having the complete glans covered when flaccid, like most men).

Question for girls: do you prefer men to have a short foreskin, not covering the glans completely and completely retracting by itself when the penis is hard?

    For men:
    1) how short is your foreskin (how much of the glans is still covered when it's completely flaccid)?
    2) has it always been this way or is it since puberty?
    3) did you do anything for the foreskin to shrink (like wearing the foreskin retracted)?
    4) if you retract the foreskin, will it remain retracted?
    5) do you ever do that on purpose, keep it completely retracted?
    6) would you consider doing that permanently to make the foreskin even shorter?
    7) does your foreskin ever completely retract by itself without getting an erection?
    8) are you glad you have a short foreskin or would you rather have it longer?
    9) what does your partner think about your foreskin?
    10) does it make your glans less sensitive to touch?
    11) does it make your glans less sensitive to sexual stimulation?
    12) when masturbating, do you pull the foreskin over the glans (when possible) or do you rub the glans?

I myself have a fairly long foreskin, but I'd rather have short one. I even think that if it would cover half of the glans, I would try to make it even shorter so it would never cover by itself. And no, I do not want to get circumcised.

Most people who have seen me nude and commented have concluded that I am uncircumcised and have an intact foreskin. Who would comment? Well, a few guys who had seen me in the communal shower in school - let's discount them - even if they were correct, they knew almost nothing about anatomy. Anyone else? Yes, most women I've had sexual encounters with have commented, and they all mentioned that I was uncircumcised. More importantly, the few medical doctors who have commented concluded the same.

However, I was circumcised at birth. It was the custom at the time and place for hospital births, and all of my brothers, both older and younger than me, are circumcised. My father who is not circumcised told me that I was - he would know. As to appearance, flaccid, the urethral aperture is visible and a bit of the glans, but none of the glans is protruding as at least some of it does with all other circumcised men I've seen. Even though I'm circumcised, I would appear to have more foreskin than what you'd consider a short or perhaps even average-length foreskin on an uncircumcised man. How is the urethral aperture and any of the glans visible if the skin around the glans extends beyond the distal terminus of the glans? My penis usually points straight out, not down, so it's visible in a mirror or easily seen by another person.

I think that you're not taking into consideration the ratio of subcutaneous tissue to skin. Perhaps it isn't that you have a long foreskin, but rather a relatively low ratio, if you'll permit the vernacular, of dick meat to dick skin. I know that I have a low ratio. The ratio of dick meat to dick skin varies from person to person. The skin It isn't like a sausage casing - human skin, including that on the penis, isn't always a tight fit.

A small dick (the fleshy inner part) will make an average-length foreskin look long. It can also make a circumcised man look uncircumcised.

You could try stretching you foreskin and see how that goes, try www,pegym.com for info and see how that goes, be warned it takes time to stretch or find a site that gives advice on foreskin stretching.

The skin around a flaccid penis is very loose regardless of circumcision results. This allows the penis to expand to its full erected state when stimulated without damaging the outer layer. This loose skin can be enough to drape over the glans some even though the penis has been circumcised. My skin bunches around the neck which is between the shaft and corona much like the penis on the left in the picture and may roll over the corona when exposed to a cold environment due to the penis retracting into my body. A quick look at a penis that has been circumcised will reveal a darker colored ring around the shaft near the glans where the foreskin was removed. This is especially visible when the penis is erect. The penis in the picture on the right is not circumcised and displays a short foreskin the OP is referencing.

Please note that you can't actually stretch a foreskin that was removed by circumcision. What you can do is stretch the skin of the shaft to over the glans. The skin of the shaft is something different than a foreskin though and that's why people need to think very carefully about proceeding with a circumcusion. These nerve endings won't come back.

Anyway, to get back on topic, I think a short (but fully functioning) foreskin is the best you could wish for, as you will have a clean glans, a glans that is not over sensitive to touch, the glans will remain retracted easily when erect and honestly it simply looks better. Most women say they don't care, but I think subconsiously they will like a short foreskin better as it doesn't resemble the dreaded pig-in-a-blanket or elephant trunk ;-).
