Most would say you should not stray outside a relationship.
If a person has questions about their sexuality or needs to experience something and they cannot or choose not to advise their partner but are open with the 3rd party (new person) is it ok to test the water?
Eg , I am married and she is happy and I cannot explore any further than what we have together.
I will not ask for approval to have any new or differing experience with any potential opportunity to experience any sexual experience other person/s.
Maybe a Bi hookup or maybe a random m/f hookup, if the third party is knowing and it's NSA, and the other accepts this can I test the water and answer my unanswered questions .
It might all be chalked up to ticked that box no harm done keep it to myself.
    You only live once.

It's going to eat into you for years. I wish I had experimented with men a long time ago. Thankfully my wife is aware of my desires and encourages me to explore. I have a couple of experiences. She knew my plans in advance and got all the details afterwards (one of them involved video of me sucking cock)

I would do this with her if she was willing.
I would probably have her lead the way if we were approached by the right male or female. I'm open to trying new things if it is mutual with the third party.
If she introduced a male to the equation I'm open to suggestion and she could witness things first hand.
She is not interested so I'm reading here.

I would have never thought my wife was until she told me she fantasized about women. I told her 6 months later I fantasized about men. We were both cool about each other. Guess we were meant to be.

Don't ask me; ask your mate. If you're in a committed relationship, you are well enough aware of what the parameters and expectations are. If you're a person of integrity, you don't need a lawyer to parse the fine print for you.

Not what I'm asking, you could voted no.
I am not going to initiate that conversation with her or ask approval to hookup with another person. If I do then whatever comes of it is what it is.
She is free to start the conversation and knows I would like a FFM threesome, what man wouldn't.
MFM is possible if the opportunity arose and the stars align, she can approach that or someone can approach us.
MM experience or MMF, I not opening the conversation. I'm not going into how we came to be or should we be. She is happy with her lot in life.
There are things I would like to experience. That might include the physical stimulation of sex with another male with no strings, no baggage and no dramas.
If a potential candidate is fine with NSA hookup with a married man it's between us.
For now it's talk and fantasy

Perhaps a better title for your post would be, "Is it OK to cheat on your spouse?"
All action is preceded by "talk and fantasy." Since you've stated that you're sufficiently ethically challenged to have already answered your question in the affirmative, I don't understand why you feel the need to ask us to cosign your dishonesty.

Well, here's my take on the matter having been down the very same road. During one of my ex's (married 25 years) dry spells (not putting out) I allowed a gay man to suck me off. Damn, at that time in my life it was the best blow job I'd ever received. Blew in 10 minutes and he swallowed it all. After him sucking me off some 20 times over the next couple of months I wanted to suck him to see what it was like. Well, a cock sucker was born. I began hooking up with other married men for mutual oral to satisfy my sexual needs since she wasn't meeting her end of the bargain. I'm not proud of what I did, and I've never suggested anyone else travel that road because I did struggle with a lot of guilt for quite a long time but continued to hook up with other married men for my fix. Eventually I got over it and we divorced for reasons other than this because she never knew what I was doing.

@LowHangers thanks for being honest. It's your choice and yes there could be guilt or even shame if someone found for themselves hey, I tried gay sex and oh it's not for me, I had a gay experience.
Gay, Bi, whatever if some want an experience it's their life. I'm not asking for an approval here but invoking conversation. Hoping to hear about others stories

In my view being unfaithful is the same whether it is with the opposite or same sex. The response of your partner whom you have not been faithful to might be different though.

It wasn't until my wife couldn't have sex anymore. She had always told me that I should let our gay friend give me a no hangups bj, just for some satisfaction. He was just as horny as I was After years of teasing and asking, my needs altered my desires and I let him blow me. My wife is the one who guilted me into returning the favor, saying it was the polite thing to do and not leave him unsatisfied. Actually did it as she watched. She was instrumental with her encouragement to at least try it. I actually think she was more into me doing it, then I was. I did it. Interesting to say the least, but her enthusiasm made it a much better experience, which we repeated countless times. I never thought anything wrong about trying it, expecially since she was with the program. It beat jerking off and it was always fun when she watched and offered encouragement . I would still rather be fucking a woman, but she won't have that. I'll take an try whatever I can get, with her blessings. Not only did she enjoy the shows, I enjoyed performing for her too.

I'm not saying it's the right thing to do and many would say it's wrong.
I feel Its not something that's going to happen together and sometimes you need to be true to yourself, it may not make it right so but many here have a different lifestyle and perhaps non traditional relationship so they can be more open minded or be themselves.
People have extramarital sex or affairs and maybe it's for similar reasons.
Opportunity has not presented but there are things I might try if it was on the quiet.

Your life, your body, and you owe it to yourself to find out who you are by opening that door, if you so choose. Dont punish or repress yourself and regret never finding out.
