Is it just me, or it is annoying when artists' music is used for commercials? Seems like a lot of Eric Clapton songs are being used lately. It's kind of annoying. Like, alright, yeah, people gotta sell shit, and Clapton gets a royalty or whatever, but damn. Have some respect for your own music, man. You want a fucking classic like Layla selling cell phones? Goddam thats low! Ya know what I'm saying? Bob Dylan songs being used by Victoria's Secret? What the hell?

I just don't know man, it seems like even great art like great music is only as good as the money you can get for it. Kinda sickening...

You have to remember though, the artists don't even own the rights to their own songs most of the time. Their label does.

Or, in the case of The Beatles, Michael Jackson does...

It's so fucked up...I hate these companies, and some people...
