just want to know what everybody thought of this band. they're one of my favorite. my first concert was them. i got to meet them all. they were are such nice guys, especially Eddie! they put on one hell of a show, there best songs live are Of The Girl and Evenflow, they do some great jamming on both. so what do you guys think of em?
I wasn't really into Pearl Jam until I went to college. One of my good buds whom I've gotten to know in the last coupla years is probably the biggest Pearl Jam fan I've ever known. And the more and more I'm around him the more I listen to their music, and I'm becoming more and more of a fan...so yeah, I dig em!
I've been in love with them for half of my life.....I think they are amazing to say the least. Always have been one of my favorite bands.
They either put on unbelievably good shows, or Eddie is so drunk that he ruins the entire thing. ...of course, he is at least moderately drunk at every show anyway. At least he can still stay in tune and give good political speeches. The last two concerts I saw were Pearl Jam and Metallica... Pearl Jam was $32, and metallica was about $80 I think... and by the shows, I would have much rather had the prices the other way. My 80 dollars ended up going to pyrotechnics, my 32 went to good music and a good time.
I love Pearl Jam because they are so genuine- what U see is what U get. period. Eddie Vedder is very cute and a great singer-so distinctive!!! My favorite PJ songs are: Dissident/Alive/Animal- I love Early Pearl Jam stuff the most- now, I just like them a lot, then I was really a huge fan and just couldn't get enough.
I've grown up around Pearl Jam since my parents have always been really into them. They're one of the first bands I remember listening to in the car when we went on long trips up in the mountains so of course I love them.
