I have a VERY good question for you ALL!

How come a TV program called "Galaxy Of Black Stars" starrining Chris Rock, and other people of African decent is NOT RACIST? Yet, a TV show starring nothing but WHITE people is?

Can one of you explain THIS to me? PLEASE? Or are blacks ALLOWED to be racist and whites NOT allowed to be? Who is to blame for this?

I mean to say, "Hippies" are color blind. I am. MOST of you are. Why isn't Hollywood? Or the US Government? What exactly makes it OK for a film or TV show to have all black actors and NOT all white ones? (Which is considered Discrimination by the ASPCA and the ACLU if it has all WHITE actors!)
I guess I'm confused....

because our society is royally fucked. Most people these days arent rascist or have very little prejudice but Chris Rock is definetley rascist, great stand up comedian but i jsut cant stomach the man

 

I hate Chris Rock. He's damned annoying. It has nothing to do with race, either, I just can't stand his voice. It bothers me too much to actually listen to what he's saying. Just like that other lady who's supposed to be a comedian... Kathy something, I think.

But anyway.

That's always bothered me, too. Same with Gay Pride Day. If there was to be a Straight Pride Day, OH MY GOD! We would be all homophobic. I don't understand society. Oh well, someday we'll all be the same color. If you think about it.

Personally I just disregard racists as they are simply stupid, whatever their colour or race. There is nothing that anyone could say to me with regards to race that would offend me infact I would probably laugh at them. Chris Rock is very overrated, if he is racist he seems happy to recieve their money when they buy his DVDs etc.

 

suprised you dont have people complaining at ski slopes or resorts that make their own snow "why the fuck cant we have black snow? Skiing is racist!"

 

It is a generalisation but, it seems alot of black people are determined to find racism in anyplace they possibly can even where it is not intended to the point where political correctness will suffocate us all. It seems that experience has not made them automatically perceptive.

One thing I did once hear a black girl say, is the word "******" being used amongst black people is their way of claiming the word as their own. This is wrong, if a black person is allowed to use it to refer to another black person then everyone is, its their choice. I did see this on TV, so I am not going too far off the thread.

actually there is a hispanic heritage month. and the smithsonian recognizes March as womens history month, May as asian pacific american history month, and november as american indian heritage month.

 

I generally don't care. I see it as racsim though. Funny or not, it's still a very close minded way of thinking.

Maybe black people think we have it coming, but continuing hate and promoting it as funny isn't too cool with me. I hate all forms of racism. I wish it would just die out. I'm sorry that they were treated so badly in the past, but I dont owe anyone anything and I do my part by treating everyone as humans

Do you really need an anglo-saxon history month, every history textbook has a pretty thorough account of European history, the history you learn is essentially anglo-saxon history, you don't get to learn much about Asia etc. unless you take a specific course at the college level....

don't forget, blacks are a minority, they have a history that has for the most part been neglected, what is the problem with devoting a month to study black history?!

Eveybody knows about "history" AKA white persons history.
