---that you could do that you can't any more?? Me--I wish I could play basketball again. I was GOOD. And I wish I could dance again. I was a wild dancer! A dancin'fool---now just half that. Yeah--the latter.
I wish I could run. I used to run when I was younger. Now that I am 30 years old, I feel too old. I can hardly even move now.
I wish I could study psychology and philosophy again. I used to really enjoy that as a student. But after becoming schizo-affective my brain can't handle that kind of activity anymore.
Being here on HipForums is a course in psychology and philosophy with a touch of social studies and civics thrown into the mix. I believe you are doing quite well!
Never played baseball myself, I was on the sailing team in school! We raced these little lazers around the bay, most fun when you hve a knockdown and get thrown into the water!
Running can be fun, but hard on the knees! I know some oldsters who jog daily... but not flat out running... taking it easy.
The high school just cleaned up at the states. Waynesburg blasts Central Dauphin, 42-3, to win its first PIAA Class 3A Team Wrestling Championship I taught and coached in the CD district and know their coach. Interesting story, when I lived near Waynesburg there was a little auto tire shop, just an old gas station about 5 miles outa town. You'd have to order tires, wait till they got there, then some old guy would just jack up the car where the pumps used to be with floor jacks and put on the tires as he had no lift. He had one of those little old gas station offices and when you walked in the walls were plastered with amateur wrestling stuff and no furniture just an open concrete floor. Literally not a spot to hang a girlie calendar. The place was called Take Down Tire and if you bought four ties and could take the owner down you got the fourth for free. Luckily for that old dude I never needed tires. He was outa my weight class anyway.
