As we hit +28 degrees Celsius (82.4 Fah) this week, the weather is finally properly in my favor and I've been taking advantage of these new opportunities like nobody's business. Yesterday, a hike to a trail in my area. Mud, gravel, clay and sand was encountered, as well as pine cones and needles. A muddy blotch encountered on the way swallowed my feet ankles high, leaving my feet stained properly dark brown for the remainder of the hike. By the end of it, my feet were caked with a layer of dry mud with sand on top. I encountered a group of children on the way, who might've been wondering what the weird uncle is doing. I paid them no attention, however. Since it's not yet mosquito season here, I was even free of the little pests this time around, so it was a really perfect 90 minutes.

Today, a trip to the shopping mall, preceded and followed by several miles of driving my car barefooted. Many people were seen barefooting a pair of sandals or Crocs, but as far as I was able to tell, I was the sole (hehehee...) person to go fully bare today.

Unfortunately weather forecasts are predicting thunder storms for tomorrow, so I won't be moving around much. But the summer is still young...

Sploshing around barefoot in the rain is amazing! Please reconsider.

Well, that rainy Friday came and went, so it's kinda late now. But, the storm left behind a good number of rain water puddles, if you know what I mean...

Shit, I have to wear work boots all day at my job. This time of year with the snow finally gone for good I take them off the second I get in the car. Don't put them on again til morning. I am looking forward to a little time off coming up.

Im barefoot all year round 24/7 so seasons dont really have much bearing on when im barefoot. Went to a fundraising concert for my kids school last night, wore a crushed leather mini skirt, red satin sleeveless top and black leather jacket, and of course, I was barefoot. I did get some interesting "looks" mainly from other women, not quite sure why.

A few days ago I spent the entire day barefoot in the Lake District. I hired a paddle board and set off to Peel Island in Coniston (where Swallows and Amazons was filmed). It wasn't too busy with a couple also barefoot people on the island who had also paddled over, it was quite muddy still from the recent rain and awesome on our bare feet. I left a lot of foot prints for all to see :) I then spend the rest of the day walking around Coniston itself. I seemed to be the only barefoot person there unfortunately - my soles were filthy! Heading home I needed some fuel so stopped off at a petrol station and filled up. I love the feeling of the cold floor inside at these places! The cashier noticed my bare feet as I approached but made no comment.
