Imagine a mouse seeing those eyes...lol I have a yellow cat named Roo, best barn cat in the world. Cat's are awesome.
Roo spends most of his time keeping the mouse population under control in and around the horse barn where I work. This little guy has been chased by the fastest dogs and always eludes them. He ran through the indoor arena with a cantering stallion and made it between all those moving feet. He is an amazingly acrobatic cat. Thta;s no doubt what kept him alive in the forest before he found Whiskey and I. By the way, Roo is short for Rooster Cogburn after all he had only one good eye when he found us...LOL
I only have one cat now. One 11 year old quarter horse and a mother and son pair of mini donkey's. The son was born on my ex ranch.
No I work at a breeding horse ranch. I halter train the new arrivals and train some others to be able to ride. AND......Muck out a LOT of stalls....lol
No sir, I don't agree with racing horses. I learned what I do from a couple of old Vaquero's decades ago. They taught me that "Love, patience, and repetition" will get you everywhere with horses. Every horse I work with I love them. They gave me a horse my very first day here that nobody had been able to gentle her enough to get a halter on her. 3 days was all it took. Now all I have to do is walk out in the pasture and she walks right up to me and presents her nose so I can put the halter on her. Most horses do what I ask because they can tell I love them and they trust me. Very simple approach.
