My family had a '62 Plymouth Wagon when I first started driving. Same basic body as the Dart. I think it was a 318, We called it the White Wonder as I beat a 327 four barrel and a 390 Ford with it on two separate occasions. I've often wondered if it was a 361.
I had a Gremlin X like this one, but green. It had a 258 six and a three on the floor. 0 to 60 sub 12 seconds. One of the most fun cars I ever had. It needed a clutch so I called the auto store to see if they had one and they said there were three different clutches put in that car, we have two of them and the third is very rare don't worry about that one. So I pulled the clutch and took it to the store....I had the odd one. A three finger clutch, they told me it was a competition clutch. I tried to teach my wife how to drive a stick with it, but due to the light rear end and stiff clutch she couldn't pull out without squealing the tires, so she refused to drive it.
I remember seeing those Henry J and Kaiser autos. They were named for Henry J Kaiser, chairman of the Kaiser Corporation. They didn't make them for many years.
