I'm not sure but this may be the type of Renault that a company was turning into electric cars back in the 70s. I thought that was an excellent idea after the damn gas madness of '73 . Everyone thought oil was running out and you could hardly get any without waiting in mile long lanes or by even or odd numbers. Turns out, it was a scam by the oil companies and they then lowered the gas prices again to screw over companies just like Renault and solar companies that were going to be taking money away from the oil companies. I bought stock in the company and lost it all.
A guy that I knew in high school owned one of those... He pretty much screwed that car up just by being an idiot.
1970 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. They were actually 1970 and 1/2... There was a delay in model year changeover because of the new body design. I had one of these... I "pretty much screwed that car up just by being an idiot." I ended up selling the body to a guy that "pretty much screwed his car up just by being an idiot." and rolling his Trans Am over... Do you realize how hard it is to roll a 1970 1/2 Trans Am over? Yeah... The "Idiot thing" I think it was in the water or something...
