myste the rain if it even did here today. sleep at 14:30, there abouts, just got up at 22:30 or so.
last i was awake, besides playing trains on the computer, made and uploaded one to f.a.

what will i have done before my next/current wake cycle has passed remains to be seen in the shifting shadows of near future time.

Not today. But yesterday I accomplished my goal of running 10 miles yesterday 2 months early. And did another 6 today. Then me and the wife went for a walk.

    Did some mowing... surprise, surprise.

Also started digging up a tree to move that should have been moved 2 or 3 years ago. Not sure I'm going to be able to pull this off or not. I put it where it is about 6 years ago when it was a sapling... it was a "nursery" spot. Then it got big... and it's in the wrong spot. I don't want to just cut it down if I can possibly move it to a better location. I've moved a lot of trees, this will be the largest... and I'm not young anymore.

made it to the 99cents, stocked back up for the rest of the week.

people wearing masks because the governor says so,
but not covering their noses like they don't have the i.q. to understand how it works or why.

I have a couple like that I "stuck in there" on the quick run that are now 30 and 40 foot tall. One choke cherry that
s about 30 foot tall and I'd guess a 20 foot dia. branch spread. I like the smell in early spring and the robins love cleaning it off in the fall before they leave state for the winter.

saw a sign when i was out shopping, free shots, no appointment, at a cvs, form on the bus when i was out shopping groceries at the 99,
thought about going there today but didn't. played trains and slept. more to do's. no point in mentioning them all.
playing trains on the computer is always more rewarding then turning on the tv and being disappointed by what i don't find there.

    status nominal, delta zero.

buses on strike. went to little store. not cheap, but convenient.
not gonna support scabs or management driving the only two routes being kept running, even if one of them goes right by my door.
got stuff i can survive on for a week more still at least.

fires still going on, three of them all in my favorite places in childhood and young adulthood growing up.
alpine county still burning, the one up by lake almanore just ate the town of greenville and is nibbling at the edges of the town of chester.
that was going on last night, well morning/early afternoon, when i went to bed, don't know yet if they managed to stop it there.
new one popped up too, right where i used to walk from where i lived, place where i met my spirit friends when i wasn't looking to.
i mean these are all places i knew and loved growing up. i guess i should be glad i ended up living where i do instead.
still breathing the smoke from all of them though, they're like more then 50 miles away, but the smoke is so thick in the air you could cut it with a knife,
and we're, our biggest little city, is directly down wind from the prevailing wind direction. even with the windows closed sometimes i have to wear my mask,
the same one i wear on the bus when i go out.

its only the one in alpine county we're directly down wind of, usually, except when the wind changes, but its the whole frigging county.
granted its mostly wilderness what isn't high pasture for sheep grazing, there's only three towns in it, all have been evacuated,
though people are being allowed back in where everything to burn has already been burnt.
evacuations in the probably paths of the other two are ongoing as well.

we're far enough away to be safe from the fires themselves. we're a little way out into the desert from the forest.
so we're probably at no direct risk, other then the air full of smoke.

probably not good for the shiny paint on the fancy cars. not good for the vendors at the car show locations with people staying inside.
all though i hear tell a lot of people are braving it to go out and see them anyway.
