awww I love those bands! I make 'em. As we speak I am finally finished Fleassy's. Didn't take long, just hadda busy week... I guess keep your eyes out for mail next week Fleassy? Or however long it takes for mail from the states takes. Your dreadlocks are really nice, they are very neat, I think you've done a great job with keeping them in order(does that make sense?lol) for professional work and whatnot. Way to go. :)

    They look good hon!

EarthyMama...how big do you make the bands? I bought some material to make some for me but I can't decide how big to make it. :)

I'd first measure your head all the way around and then cut one inch smaller so it is tight and stretchy(unless it is not a stretchy material, I use fleece). Then, I pin it and hold it against my head or the persons head that it will fit on but put the dreadies in a ponytail holder. See how much fabric your dreads need and pin it at the mark of where you want so you won't lose it be4 you cut. Some people like to make them very thin, I on the other hand like to make it long so I can tuck my dreadies in it then fold/roll all the extra fabric in. The current one I am wearing is 11 inches long and my hair is only shoulder length. See what I mean about how big I make it? I don't know if you want one that covers all of your dreads or not... I'd say if you want just a medium band go for 5 1/2 or 6 inches long.

*hugs* Thanks hon. I actually want a big one and a medium sized one. I bought enough material, but wasn't quite sure how long would be too long. ROFL I plan to experiment.
