wear your handmade threads?!
Do you wear them regularly or only to shows and festies?

 

I wear them whenever i can... I get really dirty at work, old leather books have polish on them and once they touch fabric its stained that colour perminantly... so i dont wear them to work.. but alot of the time i change after i get home from work... and weekends... and festivals, camping.. i wear them alot

 

Whenever I can! I wear them to work on days that I know we aren't recieving deliveries, cause those are grubby clothing days. I wear them at home (I'm wearing a patchwork skirt right now), I wear them to town, to parties, to dinner...you get the idea.

 

I wear em everywhere! Sometimes not to work, cause anythign at work is bound to get paint and playdough and all kinds of goop on it, but the more casual stuff I wear there and the rest everywhere else!

 

Sometimes I make special outfits for certain events but I do wear them again. I wear what ever is comfortable out. When I am working I NEED jeans, Or even something that holds the fabric close to my legs. (usually yardwork) I hate washing handmade stuff alot, so I try not to get it dirty and I spot wash...

 

hey faerie, i was wondering, where do you work?

 

Everywhere! I wear my patchwork creations grocery shopping and everywhere else. I do not wear full on patchwork stuff to work. I am a substitute teacher and looking to get a full time teaching position next fall. I do however wear simple hemp creations to work. I save my crazy random patchwork fully appliqued stuff for shows. That stuff is like my Sunday best and it only gets worn to spin at concerts

 

I wish I had more time to wear funky patchwork stuff, I do when I'm not at work, my day's off and on weekends. I'm a waitress and have to wear jeans and other conservative type clothing to work. But, I do add my funky flair with my hemp and silver jewelry, and other accessories and just save the full out patch stuff for when I'm not working. I would live in patched goods 24/7 if I could.

 

I wear mine everywhere! School, church, to shows, when i go for a walk... everywhere! I love it so much and i always get tons of comments on my clothes. the other day i wore jeans to school and a bunch of people noticed that i was dressed normal it was funny. i laughed. tee hee.

 

I can't wear anything interesting to work but always wear my own handmade clothes to college

I wear scrubs at work..but that doesn't stop me from wearing my hemp jewlery !!!!
