If they did not videotape or release the videotape, they would have remained free. Luckily these people were not so bright.

And reached for comment by The Daily Beast about his non-existent Supreme Court filing and why it hasn’t been made public, the pillow mogul fumed “Are you out of your mind?" Lindell shouted. “You call me again, I am suing you!

"Trump argues Jan. 6 panel could permanently damage the presidency with its pursuit of White House records"

Trump argues Jan. 6 panel could permanently damage the presidency with its pursuit of White House records

    excerpt:

"Attorneys for former President Donald Trump argued Wednesday that the pursuit of his White House records by a congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol could have long-lasting, harmful effects on the presidency.

"The [committee’s] clear disdain for President Trump is leading them to a course of action that will result in permanent damage to the institution of the presidency," Trump's attorneys wrote in a brief filed in federal court."

Those in the real world say that Trump has already permanently damaged the presidency (and the country and democracy) with his pursuit of truther narratives that caused an insurrection at the Capitol (which is why the presidential communications are being sought).

I don't know about permanently damaged but it will certainly take years to get it back on track. It's one of the things Biden must deal with, along with all the other shit that needs fixing.

Michael Cohen says Trump will not run in 2024: ‘His ego can’t stand to be a two-time loser’

    excerpt:

"“This is nothing more than the world’s greatest grift,” Cohen said. “He’s bringing in money greater than when he had the Trump Organization with all of its assets. So why would you give this up?

“He will drag this thing on all the way to the end. I have an original document … whereby he decided not to run in 2011. And of course, the reasons he talked about was his real estate, it was, you know, The Apprentice and so on.

“He’s going to do the same thing. The only difference this time versus last is that he’s making money each and every day by sending out more texts. ‘Oh, Donald won. Send $25.’”

Alluding to pictures of Republicans including the House minority leader, Kevin McCarthy, at Trump’s Florida resort, Cohen said Trump “doesn’t need to be the president in his mind to be the man behind the power, which of course goes to his adage, right? ‘Come and kiss the ring.’

“He says that all the time. They’re all coming to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring.”"

Trump Could Pay $156,000 For Every Jan. 6 Rioter’s Defense, But So Far Has Spent Zero
The former president is sitting on at least $105 million in cash collected by spreading the same lies about the election that incited the assault on the Capitol.

Trump’s ‘Save America’ Could Pay $156,000 For Every Jan. 6 Rioter’s Defense, But So Far Has Spent Zero

    excerpt:

"WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump could pay $156,000 in legal expenses for every person arrested thus far in the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol using the $105 million he has collected by spreading the same lies he used to incite the attack, but so far has not helped a single one of the nearly 700 rioters.

“Many people who went there that day are disappointed by his lack of support,” said one defense lawyer on the condition of anonymity so as not to hurt his Jan. 6 client’s case. “If President Trump was ever going to step up and step in, the time to do it is right now.”

Albert Watkins, the lawyer for the self-described “QAnon Shaman” who last week was sentenced to three and half years in federal prison for his role in the attack, was far more blunt speaking to reporters afterward about what Trump should do.

“I’d tell him, ’You know what? You’ve got a few fucking things to do. Including clearing this fucking mess up and taking care of a lot of the jackasses that you fucked up because of January 6,’” he said."

When Trump first became president, his second media spokesperson was Conway. She made a statement to Chris Cuomo on CNN where she mentioned "Alternative Facts" and he was floored. He immediately told her that Alternative Facts are not facts. They are falsehoods. Five years later, Trump and his supporters are still intentionally trying to deceive Americans with these Alternative Facts.

I used to think that but no more. Some of them will never give it up. Haven't you heard? "The Big Lie" is actually "The Big Truth".

His prediction two months ago also seems to have fallen a bit short when he predicted Trump would be celebrating Thanksgiving Day 2021 in the White House.

One of the drawbacks for Trump for using his own Deep State comprised of outsiders like Bannon, Flynn, Giuliani, and Lindell is that they have limited ability to claim immunity based on executive privilege, in contrast to Meadows who was an official member of Trump's administration leading up to the insurrection at the Capitol.

The Jan. 6 panel is pressed to resolve Trump's executive privilege dispute in court before it can better address the issue of a criminal referral about Meadows who doesn't want to testify..

He’s going to lie and say that’s what they’ve been doing, until the truth comes out. That comes to $109,200,000.00 that none of these insurrection assholes will see a dime of, and another way for Trump to continue to bleed money from his “base”. Why they haven’t caught on to these narcissistic intentions is no shock to me anymore.
