Does anyone else listen to this song like its an addiction? i wonder if the other live versions of it are as incredible. i could listen to it every moment of my life. page breaking down during the first verse, the fans applauding, the haunting guitar solo at the end. fuck.
I don't think I've ever held back tears as much as I did during that performance and it was only my 9th phish show (although, I had been into them since right after hiatus began). I was about 7th row, mike side. Many phans around me were crying, especially the older ones. The emotion that night was so raw. The boys don't get much more human than that. I miss Phish On a happier note, how about that Down with Disease?! Wow! Insane energy and glowstick war. PM me if you want a video clip of the glowstick madness. "Orange team go!" I dont understand why all the Phans are so sad now. This is what the 3rd or 4th time they have "called it quits". Give em sometime and they will be back-maybe longer than 2 or 3 years, but they will be back...
