In September 2021 Trump endorsed FInchem for Secretary of State of Arizona, his first endorsement of an AZ candidate post-2020 election. Donald Trump endorses Mark Finchem for Arizona secretary of state
When a Trump supporter told me the Bible is the word of God and is all truth, I asked him if Earth and the Universe were created in 7 days? He said, "Actually ... it was 6 days, because on the 7th day God rested." So, I followed up with, "Do you know what happened to all the millions of years of geological record and all the dinosaurs?" He said, "Oh yeah ... it was all compressed into one hour by God himself."
GOP members defend Mike Rounds. The pressure of the passage of time is being felt by the GOP as the 2022 midterm campaign season will start in earnest in a couple months. Top Republicans stand up for Rounds after Trump's attack: He 'told the truth' - CNNPolitics excerpt: "Other Republicans said it was time to focus on something other than 2020. "I say to my colleague, welcome to the club," Sen. John Thune, the senior South Dakota Republican said of the Trump attack on Rounds -- something he has endured himself in the past. "I don't think re-litigating or rehashing the past is a winning strategy. If we want to be a majority in 2023, we've got to get out and articulate what we're going to do with respect to the future the American people are going to live and the things they're going to care about when it comes to economic issues, national security issues." Many Republicans were angered over the personal nature of Trump's attacks against Rounds, who lost his wife in November after a battle with cancer. "I take great exception to anybody that calls Mike Rounds a jerk," said Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, a West Virginia Republican. "Because he's one of the kindest, nicest, most sincere members that we have.""
Knowing Trump, he would call the wife of Mike Rounds a loser for dying of cancer and tell Rounds that he should have picked a healthier and more physically beautiful wife.
Rioter Ridge sentenced. A Lower Southampton man spends 14 days in prison for capitol riots excerpt: "Boasberg instead gave Ridge a two-week prison sentence, 100 hours of community service and a $1,000 fine. Boasberg said last Tuesday it was the Neshaminy High School graduate’s age that kept Ridge from serving the full sentence, but his text messages before and after the riots made some jail time appropriate. Ridge was arrested in May 2020 in Lower Southampton after at least three witnesses told federal investigators last January about social media posts Ridge made chronicling his time inside the Capitol Building."
Capitol attack panel closes in on Trump inner circle with three new subpoenas excerpt: "Congressman Bennie Thompson, the chairman of the select committee, issued subpoenas to the former White House strategists Andy Surabian and Arthur Schwartz, suggesting they helped coordinate Trump’s appearance by communicating with the organizers and speakers at the rally. The chairman also authorized a subpoena for Ross Worthington, the former White House official who drafted the speech Trump delivered at the rally, during which the former president lied that he won the 2020 election and urged his supporters to march to the Capitol. “The select committee is seeking information from individuals who were involved with the rally,” Thompson said. “Protests that day escalated into an attack on our democracy. Protesters became rioters who carried out a violent attempt to derail the peaceful transfer of power.”"
Trump is still saying that he expects a big news story to hit any day now proving that he won the swing states that he lost in the 2020 election. In his recent OAN interview, he made a sketchy reference to an analysis that he says proves he won AZ. He was apparently referring to the report by Cyber Ninjas (now shut down) that contended 50,000 suspicious ballots in Maricopa County (that, in Trump's mind, supposedly went to Biden), a claim that was refuted meticulously by Maricopa County election officials in a 93-page rebuttal. Trump's references are psychological pacifiers that have no traction in court.
Yeah, he also told us that he would be 'installed' as president (or 're-installed') last August. The government has indulged Trump and his followers with multiple re-counts & audits of the '20 election, all of which have shown that he lost the damn election. Even states in which the electoral authorities are solidly Republican (ex. Georgia & Arizona) have concluded that he lost. For that matter, even Cyber Ninjas, a company hired by Republicans to audit the Arizona election..... concluded that Biden won fair & square.......even considering that they were hired strictly due to the fact that they would arrive at the opposite conclusion None of this seems to affect Trump voters who fervently believe he won despite all the evidence to the contrary. Are these folks important? You bet they are; their votes elect candidates to office and GOP lawmakers, who undoubtedly know how bad Trump is for democracy and the country, still devise strategies to win over these voters. One such strategy came about in 2016.... in regards to abortion, Trump had been strictly pro-choice his entire adult life......but when he decided to run for president in '16, he announced that he's solidly anti-abortion......and his voters accepted it without question. Trump's advisers knew that a great deal of the voters he needed to win over to gain office were anti-abortion, so they convinced their candidate to switch. So yes, there's little doubt that Trump believes that a story about him winning the swing states in '20 is about to emerge.......and if it doesn't, his supporters will not waver from him in the slightest.
Trump quit an NPR interview yesterday because the interviewer called him out on his election fraud garbage.
Whahhhhh, I can't get my way......dumbass - if nothing else, you had a pulpit to tell your story to the listeners and you fell on your face. Hard to believe that even he might be running out of lies.
Trump still thinks that elections are based on crowd size. Trump Rage-Quits NPR Interview After He’s Grilled on Election-Fraud Lies excerpt: "The former president then went on to argue: “How come Biden couldn’t attract 20 people for a crowd? How come when he went to speak in different locations, nobody came to watch, but all of a sudden he got 80 million votes? Nobody believes that, Steve. Nobody believes that.”"
Trump would have had a better chance of winning in 2020 if he hadn't been so concerned about creating big crowds for himself at rallies by targeting such a narrow and fringe demographic.
Crazed Trump fan arrested. Florida MAGA Fan Arrested 'Kicking And Screaming' After Spray Painting 'Let's Go Brandon' Graffiti excerpt: "Among the defacements 32-year-old Geoffrey Pearson Holtman painted on the house and nearby vehicles were the word "Trump," a swastika, several racial slurs and the phrase "Let's Go Brandon"—a right-wing catchphrase against Democratic President Joe Biden that stands for "F'k Joe Biden.""
