Just Stockings....

And in the '40s (so I'm told), when a girl wanted to flirt with a guy, she'd turn around and ask, "Are my seams straight?" and hike up her skirt, but just a little above the knees. They were very formal back then.

 

I am a bit of a Retro nut. Better than the modern times , So much more respect between the different genders and of course most women wore the full kit in those times

 

At the risk of using too much band-width on Hip, I've done a collection of several academic studies of the question "Why do men like womens' legs." It runs to 5 pages long, so I'll just excerpt one quotation for here.

So in brief, a woman’s legs can, at once, both please visually or tease emotionally. And while the partial display of a woman’s breasts or buttocks functions more obviously in this seductive manner, it’s undeniable that for many, (if not most), men a pair of shapely legs alone will have the power to effect this enthralled, fascinated response."

Not sure why, but I've never really been a stockings kind of guy. Guess I just prefer skin.

 

Regarding those creations of the devil himself, pantyhose, I agree completely.

 

This is the perfect example of why I'm such a fan of short skirts. Just a little twist of the body, swing of the skirt and you get a glimpse of what's waiting behind door #1.
